Banana Pancakes I

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2010
Ok people so this is what I did, I thought why mash the bananas? So i cut them up into little chunks instead added some vanilla and cinnamon. They were delicious!! Cooked them on medium, I wonder if some oatmeal could even be added.. will try that next time.

Great Bread. Perfect Texture I DID ADD 1 TSP Vanilla and I used half BROWN sugar and half WHITE. You do have to play a little with cook time for me it worked well at lower temp 340 for 50 min . Oh ya I also added WALNUTS. :) Hope this helps

These were good. Although I did add 1 TSP VANILLA, and my cup of apples was a little overflowing. But ya they were good and I will be making them again :) Definately dont be afraid to try this one, might even be good with some nuts or bananas.

Garlic Butter

I quadrupled this recipe for all of my family and it was great. I did what other reviewers said and substituted the garlic salt for garlic powder and it was great and salty enough without it. I will use this recipe for all time now ... THANKS DENYSE

This recipe had to be severly altered to work right. The original recipe was way to dry it needed a whole cup more liquid. and it also needed more flavor. Took about a half hour to fix this recipe....

Lighter Banana Muffins

VERY GOOD RECIPE ** Okay -- So I added 4 tbsps of sour cream for added moisture, I also added a handful of chopped pecans and substituted splenda for sugar. These variations add protein and cut some of those carbs out. This recipe is also salicylate free when you dont add cinnamon and nutmeg.

This is in fact a very REFRESHING beverage recipe. I used half sugar and half splenda granular and it turned out great. Perfect drink for a hot summer day or just after a workout. To garnish I froze pieces of flat leaf parsley in ice cube trays with water and added a couple to each glass. Great recipe light and refreshing not too sweet.

Wow! My husband hates oatmeal but he loves these pancakes. Next time I will double the recipe since it only made about 6 pancakes. Also I didnt use a processor or buttermilk and it was still a great recipe. Thanks

WOW! Okay, I had no buttermilk so I used sour cream -- I also had no chocolate chips so I just omitted that step. Besides this, I followed the recipe exactly and I topped the cake with German Cake Frosting...it was so good. FAMILY LOVES IT!! I will never buy another cake mix THANKS BARB!!

Butter Tarts

AWESOME!!!!!!I used all NUTS instead of Raisins -- 1/2 cup walnuts and 1 1/4 CUP of PECANS. Recipe could probably make about 50 2 inch tarts. I also omitted one egg yolK AND used 2%milk instead of cream. This probably shaved about 9 grams of fat off of this recipe.

Can't Tell They're Low-fat Brownies

Pretty Good! I was skeptical at first using the prunes so I used 3.5 ounces instead of the 4.5 jar. I also added 1/2 cup of nuts and 1 extra tbsp of cocoa. I suggest cooking for full 30 min, if undercooked they are too mushy.

Great recipe - much like my grandmothers. I reduced the flour by 1 cup and added 1/2 tsp vanilla. Turned out less crumbly - just perfect!!
