Buttermilk Seed Bread

Excellent bread recipe. I used all purpose flour and added about 1/4 c chopped walnuts. Mixed it all in my Kitchen Aide.

Golden Lemon Pound Cake

Followed some of the suggestions, used more lemon and butter and it still came out bland, heavy and dry. Added an extra T of zest to batter. Glaze was the only redeeming feature of this recipe!

Elaine's Sweet and Tangy Loose Beef BBQ

As a Californian, I had to use Tri Tip. Came out excellent, I browned the meat first, used the Kicker's Mesquite Ketchup for 1/2 of the amount of Ketchup and used the full amount of garlic. Needed to cook on high for about 4 hours before adding the sauce, and them simmered on low for 3 hours more. All of my Southern friends loved the sandwiches!

True-Blue Potato Salad

Excellent twist--even the "plain janes" in my family liked it! Iincreased the vinegar slightly, but otherwise kept to the recipe. Very subltle taste of blue cheese.

Ultimate Maple Snickerdoodles

excellent-I too did not have maple syrup in the house, so I subbed the corn syrup and added maple extract. Also added the extract to the sugar used for rolling the cookies in.

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

I had no problems rolling out the dough and the cookies kept their shape beautifully! Follow the recipe and use a well floured board. Will replace my Martha recipe with this one

Sugar Cookie Icing

Like everyone else, I used more milk and used vanilla instead of the almond. Easily doubled the recipe Cookies dried in an hour and a half with a nice sheen. Beautiful!

Grand Marnier Brownies

So Good!! Made a few changes-omitted the orange zest and used Kahula, baked in a 9" pan for 25 min to save time. Very rich. good flavor. Passed out a few recipes tonight

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

A cookie too sweet? Had to give it a tr-excellent! Chilled dough overnight and baked the next morning-great breakfast. Soft cookies that actually tasted good 3 days later. Will make again.

Party Cake Frosting

excellent recipe-used it for my daughters birthday cake. I used 2 tablespoons of jello from a big box of raspberry flavor. Pretty pink color. Also, leftovers refrigerated well.
