Dump Cake I

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2003
One of my favorite "in a rush" recipes for potlucks. This is a really yummy cake that everyone raves about. And, the best thing is how easy it is to make!

Black Bean Salsa

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2006
This recipe was a hit! The beans and corn really set it apart. I used the mild tomatoes with chilis, but I would recommend using the medium instead. This would be perfect with a bit more heat. Great recipe!

Slow Cooker Stuffing

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2006
I made this for Thanksgiving and it was a HUGE hit. Everyone was raving about it. I didn't mention how easy it was. I didn't need all the broth, only using enough to moisten the bread crumbs. I used half marble rye and half white bread. A fantastic recipe!

Simple Country Ribs

Reviewed: Jul. 15, 2005
Mmmmm... Yummy! Ribs had always seemed to complicated, this recipe is easy and delicious. I used Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce, it worked great. Ribs were tender and moist.

Texas Chicken Quesadillas

Reviewed: Jun. 4, 2003
We loved these!! The barbeque sauce and cheese taste great together. Husband asked me to add them to the dinner rotation :) Changes: Used 3 chicken breasts instead of two, husband likes lots of chicken. I ran out of tortillas, so the last one I just folded in half. I think that actually works better (taco style) instead of the regular way (quesadilla style), the cheese oozes less. Very yummy, thanks Michelle!

Kabob Marinade

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2003
This is a great marinade. We made kabobs with beef round steak and it really made the meat flavorful! The lemon really adds a nice zing. Thanks for the great recipe Jon.

Banana Split Bars

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2006
Fabulous! I made these for a work pot luck and everyone was raving about them. Light and delicious and not terribly sweet. Plus, they were easy to make, can't beat that! I did drizzle chocolate syrup over the top, but that was the only change I made. Thanks for the great recipe!

Better Than Sex Cake II

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2003
This is a family favorite. So easy and so yummy! Kids really love this. The recipe I have calls for chocolate ice cream topping too (extra chocolate, how can you go wrong?). I highly recommend this recipe. Thanks for sharing!

Spinach Dip with Water Chestnuts

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2003
This is my favorite potluck dish. Its easy and people LOVE it. I make mine without the green onions and serve it in a pumpernickel bread bowl with the inside bread for dipping. YUMMY! Also great with crackers or veggies.

Champagne Punch III

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2003
Wonderful! Served this at a bridal shower and it was a big hit. Only used one bottle of champagne so it wouldn't be so potent :) It turned out great. I made an ice ring with lemons and mint and it looked lovely. Thanks!

Baked Ziti II

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2006
Delicious! Just like our favorite Italian restaurant's baked ziti. Only changes I made were adding some basil and reserving some mozzerella for the top. I baked it covered for 25 minutes, then uncovered for the last ten. Served it with garlic bread, yummy! Husband licked his plate clean :)

Fruited Curry Chicken Salad

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2008
This is the best chicken salad recipe. The curry really makes it a stand-out. I've made this several times and follow the recipe exactly. We serve it on croissants. Yum!

The Best Vegetarian Chili in the World

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2008
This is a great recipe! I made this for a vegan event and it was a huge hit. Just spicy enough! Edit: Made this again and it was even better. Of course, this time I used 2 lbs of ground beef. Fantastic recipe, great for bean lovers. Both times, I've used a crock pot and gotten great results.

Crab Dip

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2003
This was a very creamy dip, but a bit bland. Very easy to make (always important). I used 1/3 less fat cream cheese and light mayo. Next time I will take the advice of other reviewers and add some Old Bay and chedder. That sounds wonderful!

So Easy! I use this recipe when I'm in a rush to make dinner. I like to marinate the chicken longer when possible (overnight works great). Thanks for the tasty recipe!

Chicken Francese for One

Reviewed: May 2, 2003
This was a good recipe, but not Great. It was very easy. I doubled the recipe, but only used about a third of the butter called for. I let the sauce cool for about 5 minutes before I added the cheese and it turned out just fine (no lumps).

Beef Tips and Noodles

Reviewed: May 16, 2003
This was a very good dinner. I made a few changes due to what was in my pantry. I used cream of chicken soup (no mushroom) and plain onion soup mix. I didn't add any mushrooms, my husband hates them. It turned out just fine. I served this over egg noodles with rolls and it was a hit. Lots of leftovers. Thanks for the great recipe!

Broccoli Pie

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2005
This was just okay. Lots of broccoli, but not enough cheese for our taste. And not very "pie" like. Just not what I was expecting.
