The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Good cookie. Best when rolled thick. Definitely take them out just as they start to brown.

Chicken and Rice Casserole I

I didn't care for the onion soup flavor and my canned mushrooms were a bit rubbery. The chicken was tender and the rice was good. I will make it again with some changes.

Little Nut Cups

I like this recipe. I made 12 in mini tins, and 12 in cupcake tins. I actually like the ones in the cupcake tins better than the mini ones. Although both sizes are tasty. I regret not thinking to add salt. So I lightly sprinkled the tops after they came out of the oven. Yummy!

Peach Cobbler I

Very good cobbler. I used an 8 x 8 baking dish, so I used less than 1/2 cup of butter - maybe 3/4 of a stick. I also typically reduce the amount of sugar in my recipes, so I only added 1 tbsp sugar to the peaches, and about 2/3 cup sugar to the dough. My husband and I loved it. Great with ice cream, of course. Will make it again, for sure.

Carol's King Ranch Casserole

Followed instructions, but was very soupy. The flavor was good, so my husband placed all the casserole contents into a skillet to cook down. While it cooked, he cut the tortilla strips into smaller pieces. After that, it was great and more of a traditional, thicker consistency. Not sure if my strips were too big, or if my organic cream soups were too runny.
