Teena's Bacon and Cheddar Potatoes

This is a simple yet great alternative to the usual mashed potatoes. Reading the reviews, how can one say it didn't wow them when they changed the recipe? Try it as it states then judge. people.

Caramelized Baked Chicken

I have made this two ways. With and without the skin. I am a skin-on guy as it imparts so much flavor to the dish. In deference to the writer I also tried it skinless. No comparison. With the skin is soooo much more tasty. As to boneless - bone in as chicken wings (mini drumsticks) are meant to be eaten with hands not a knife and fork. The bone gives a 'handle' with which to eat them.

Good for You Greek Salad

Made this last night and it was a treat. Many years since I made a Greek salad. only change was a touch of freshly minced garlic and about 2 tblspn of red wine vinegar and two green peppers. Mixed the salad mid afternoon and refridgerated it. Also mixed the dressing at the same time but left it off the salad until just before serving. Tossed lightly

Creamed Eggs on Toast

When I saw this recipe come up on my computer, my brain got enveloped in a myriad of flashbacks of meals long forgotten. My Mom used to make this and I loved it! Could not believe it. I had completely forgotten about this dish for 50 years. The only difference is she used to add paprika and dry mustard to it. I made it and was rewarded with pleasureable memories - not to mention a happy stomache! Thanks Allrecipes!

Beef and Noodle Bake

Recipe was OK. To make it great, never use processed cheese; not good for you and it lacks the lustre and flavor of regular cheese. Experiment with Havarti and Gouda as well as different cheddars. Makes the taste EXPLODE!

Shrimp Fried Rice II

Great recipe. The only changes I made (and for the better) were to add some frozen peas after they have been cooked in microwave. After adding the rice and heating, open the center and add the egg mixture to cook on its own then blend into rice. Add peas and shrimp and heat. Shrimp are already cooked.
