Almond Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2010
I would give this recipe 10 stars if I could. This taste like the cookies we get from the Chinese restaurants. I would think this recipe would be more popular. Its so good. I'm archiving this one! I used 7.7 oz of paste. I wasn't going to try and keep the 1.7 oz extra so I added it too. Delicious.

Crispy and Creamy Doughnuts

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2010
Halved the recipe. Used the bread machine. Perfecto! Will make numerous times again. For the glaze, we used 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar. It does remind me of Tim Horton's in Canada. Doesn't really remind me of Krispy Kreme. I'm glad it doesn't though, because Krispy Kreme tasted like I poured a cup full of sugar in my mouth. Eww! And someone made the comment that if it doesn't turn out right you either didn't follow the recipe or you shouldn't bake. I beg to differ. If it didn't work, try it again. Baking is not rocket science, practice makes perfect.

Panko Crusted Mashed Potato Cakes

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2014
I didn't use any eggs or flour. I wanted to taste the potatoes. I sauteed some onions and seasoned the mashed potatoes to my liking before I rolled them into balls, then rolled them in the panko crumbs. Everyone loved them.

Was perfect, the only thing I changed was we did not use pie filling. We just took cherries out of the jar and put on top, along with a little of the juice.

Didn't have enough flour, so we substituted wheat flour to make up the difference. Delicious! Didn't miss the white flour. I just don't know if I would use all wheat flour next time.
