Grilled Sweet Potatoes with Apples

1 Gala Apple & 1 large sweet potato. Convection 375 degrees 30 minutes in foil line and foil covered pan. Made enough for 2 very hungry adults(2 servings each) had about 1/2c leftover. Delicious!

Southern Fried Chicken Livers

Pretty good with some gravy. I just wished someone else would cook it and I eat it. After preparation, I could only stomach to eat two. And YES they SPLATTER, POP, & EXPLODE. Use a splatter screen. The family loved them.

Homemade Vanilla Extract

Okay, this isn't quite a review this is just to remind me as to when I started making this. Everything went smoothly until I overflowed the bottle of vodka. Silly me! I had to take two cups of vodka out to make all the beans fit without overflowing. After I put all the split vanilla beans in the vodka I was able to add back one cup. The last cup I put in a cute bottle from the container store along with 2 to 3 beans. I used a 1.75ml bottle of vodka. I'll update in 3-6 months!

Perfect Baked Jerk Chicken

Keeper! Put Chicken in ziploc bag with vegetable oil and shake. Then shake seasoning in bag, seal and shake. i let marinate for 2 hours. Took out of bag and made some more seasonings and sprinkled on top of chicken in foil lined pan. 350 convection for 1 hour 5 minutes then broiled for 2 minutes. Reduced cinnamon and increased cayenne still wasn't too spicy but spicy enough.

Easy Tasty Dates

Good. They were sweet. I'll have to get some saltier bacon. I didn't use the balsamic vinegar and sugar. I just couldn't imagine adding anymore sweetness to the mix. Would definitely make again! Thanks. Broiled 3 minutes each side.

Honey Pork with Peppers

Sauteed vegetables separate: red bell peppers, onion, and broccoli in olive oil. Cooked pork until it was done and most juices were gone, then added other ingredients along with some spicy seasoning. Ended with a delicious slightly sweet and spicy dish served over a bed of brown rice. Keeper!

Marshmallow Popcorn Balls

Easy & delicious! Don't forget to take the unpopped kernels out before u combine the popcorn w/the marshmallows. Its hard to fish them out of sticky marshmallow otherwise.

Strawberry Chantilly

Wasn't very surprising, tasted kinda like the Good Humour Strawberry Ice Cream Bars. I also baked the crumbs that are suppose to be on top. It just didn't seem right to eat cold butter on top of a dessert. It definitely gave it some texture.
