Finding the marshmallow fondant recipe on this site. I am truly am disgusted in the marketed fondant in stores. Now all my cookies look instantly beautiful and taste wonderful as well.
My cooking tragedies
Well, it was actually my husband's tragedy. After a long day at work, he had his mouth set on fried chicken. (I don't like to fry) So he decided to fry some chicken. Well when you're not focusing on cooking and you're talking at the same time, mishaps happen. He battered the fried chicken in POWDERED SUGAR and attempted to fry them. He still didn't quite get why he had a black and sticky mess and lots of smoke. I just don't get it. I have always been able to tell the difference, out of a container, between powdered sugar and flour. He wasn't too happy and I couldn't breathe because I was laughing so hard. Gratefully, my sister-in-law was there as my witness. Other than that, he would have denied that it ever occurred.

Donut Muffins
Awesome, I used butter in place of margarine and cooked them in a paper lined mini muffin pan. After I took them out I brushed the tops with butter and dipped the tops in cinnamon sugar.

Lisa's Favorite Carne Asada Marinade
My family really enjoyed this. I made the marinade in the morning and marinaded the steak for 6 hours. I didn't use as much lime as the recipe required and next time I may skip it all together. The final meal had hints of underlying citrus flavor. The meat was very tender. I cooked the meat in the oven for about 45 minutes covered in foil. I then finished on a cast iron grill on top of the stove to give it the grill marks.We made tacos with the steak, used the pan drippings as sauce and topped with queso fresco cheese. I skipped the chipotle all together. Very tasty all in all.

Eggplant Parmesan Casserole
