awesome! This is so easy and so good! We have made a change though, and not because we thought it would be better, but because we can't drink the tea. Let me explain. Lapsang souchoung tea is incredibly smokey. My husband and I can't drink it because of that. But we tie a little in a coffee filter and put it in the pot instead of liquid smoke, it's amazing. Almost better than with liquid smoke.

Easy Vodka Sauce

I made a half batch without any changes. It was so simple and so good. I wouldn't add any spices, we didn't even season with salt/pepper. I think the key it so let everything cook for as long as it is written. That just makes it sweet.

Pumpkin Turkey Chili

We enjoyed this but made a few changes. We didn't use any bell peppers. We added a can of kidney beans and 2 C chicken broth, and used ground chicken instead of turkey. I think it needs some more spices and less chili. The flavor is so close to being amazing...It just is missing a little something.

French Bread Rolls to Die For

I made the dough in the bread machine, and it came out really sticky. I think this is just a problem with my machine, but it's worth noting in case it's not. Either way. The rolls cooked really well and tasted great with some honey butter.

Autumn Apple-Squash Crisp

This is a good recipe. My husband and I would suggest cutting down on the spices. But if you like your pumpkin pie with a lot of spice, then this is fine for you. We didn't have the ingredients for the topping, so we made one out of oats, flour, brown sugar, and butter. Still turned out great.

Orange and Lentil Soup

This is awesome! The orange juice does not make this a sweet and orangy tasting soup. It is just fabulous. At first, we just used regular lentils, because we didn't know red lentils were something different. This made the soup take forever to cook. The brown lentils are much thicker I suppose. We used red lentils last time and it cooked up just as the recipe said and was much smoother.

Caramel Apple Pork Chops

Wow. I didn't think I'd like caramel apples on my pork chops, but I did. A lot. My husband made this and the only change he made was using a small amount of red wine to deglaze the pan before adding the rest of the ingredients.

Apple-Stuffed Acorn Squash

I love the taste. The squash isn't as syrupy and sweet as many recipes. This is probably the best acorn squash I've made. However, I would suggest maybe adding some water to the pan when you bake the squash because it took forever for the squash to get tender.

Steak and Ale Pie with Mushrooms

I was really looking forward to eating this. I love cooking with Guinness, so we used it. It smelt fabulous while cooking, but that was where it ended. The pie crust didn't match (maybe just a bad recipe...although a mashed potato topping could be good). The insides were rather bland. I may make it again, only because I want it to be good. But I would season it with salt and pepper (for starters) and add some beef bouillon and try a different beer, I guess.

Honey Of An Oatmeal Bread

Very good bread. We used our bread machine to make the dough then just plopped it onto a floured pizza peel to rise for about 30 minutes while we preheated our pizza stone in the oven. We then cooked it for about 15-20 minutes I believe. Its a great, slightly sweet, bread. It would make an awesome sandwich.

Burgundy Pork Tenderloin

We made this and served it with mashed potatoes. However, we didn't use a package of gravy mix. Instead, simply add a small amount of cornstarch (or flour if you prefer) to the juices and pour into a small pot. Heat while stirring until it thickens. You can season if you'd like too.
