The only meatloaf my family will eat! It has changed their response to having meatloaf for dinner from groans to cheers. The omission of mustard from the glaze makes all the difference. As many reviews suggest, I do not place the glaze under the loaf, but make extra and smother the top. The only other change aside from various fillers and seasonings (to what I have on hand) is to cooks the loaf on top of two pieces of white bread. This really cuts out the meat simmering in its own grease. I wouldn't dream of cooking it without foiling the pan first. Otherwise the sugar-ketchup sauce would be impossible to clean.
