Oh gosh, where do I start? I make these at least three times a week, and we use them for everything--sandwiches, hamburgers, hotdogs, snacking...I haven't bought bread in months. Super easy because they're done in the bread machine, and the texture is just as airy and soft as the buns from the store. The flavor is perfect. WFDM, this recipe is amazing. I thought I had made this cake before and was unimpressed, but with all of the great reviews I decided to try it again. I'm by no means a cake snob, and have made plenty of souped up cake mix cakes which have been excellent, but this is terrible. It's heavy, dense and gummy and even with all of those great ingredients in there it has surprisingly little flavor. Complete waste of expensive ingredients.

Don't let the less-than-delicious name fool you, this is really good! The sauce is just "eh", so instead of this one, I use "world's best pasta sauce" from this site, cook the pasta, and mix with the cheeses, then pour the sauce over the top and bake. Everyone loves it!

We loved it! I've made this twice now, both times using only peaches and increasing the cornstarch to 3 tbsp as BN suggested. The second time I made sure to invite enough people over to share it, because it's definitely best served warm out of the oven. Thanks BN, you've made me a cobbler convert!

Well I just didn't like these at all; I followed the recipe exactly except I omitted the nuts and reduced the cooking time by 5 minutes. I like dense brownies, but these were more like thick brownie crackers; they were chewy and crunchy on the edges, and just plain chewy through the middle. Thanks for the recipe, but I'll keep looking.

This recipe is DELICIOUS! I've made this pie twice in the last week, and the fam devours it. I used fresh blueberries and added about 1 tbsp cornstarch as others have recommended. It is a little loose, but the flavor is so amazing who really cares?? I also didn't have any lemon so I omitted it, but the flavor is so fresh and bright with fresh blueberries that I don't think it really needed it anyway. My new favorite pie!

The whole family loved these. I think next time I'll follow the other reviewers advice and swap out half of the margarine for applesauce, and perhaps omit the fruit and/or walnuts, and use an apple butter spread on top. I didn't make the topping, and reduced the sugar by 1/4, and they were plenty sweet. Wonderful, versatile recipe!

This is GOOD. It would be 5 stars, but it was too spicy! I halved the amount of cayenne, and should have reduced it even more. I knew better, but what can I say, I'm just an idiot. I didn't use an entire can of coconut milk either, as I wanted to see if it needed all those extra calories. It didn't; it was plenty creamy and saucy with just half the can. I will definitely make this again, but reduce the cayenne even more. Great recipe!

I can't give an actual rating for this recipe since I didn't follow the instructions, but the site won't let me submit a review without a rating, hence the three stars. I made the colossal mistake of following the previous reviewers suggestions and pressure cooked the legs for 15 minutes instead of 5. My legs were stewed to the point of falling off the bone, and the skin was waterlogged and flabby, and slipped off when I removed the turkey from the cooking water. Had I further followed the instructions and broiled for 45 minutes, my legs would have turned into jerky. I salvaged what I could, added the barbecue sauce, and broiled for 5 minutes to heat through. I might try again but please heed my advice, and follow the recipe!

Oh. My. Lord. I've been making these for years, and they're hands down my favorite cookie. I like them with chocolate chips, and Hubs likes them with craisins instead of chocolate for a twist on oatmeal raisin. My kids devour them, and everyone I've ever made them for has loved them as well. I make them pretty much as written, and bake them for exactly 9 minutes each batch, or 10 if I've chilled the dough. Chilling for just a half hour or so helps them not to spread, and using margarine and oil instead of butter ensures a moist and chewy cookie that is crispy on the edges. These are just as good the day after as they are straight from the oven.

I love this recipe! I usually add extra ketchup, as the boys in our family are ketchup maniacs and we like our sloppy joe's really saucy. I've probably made this recipe 50 times over the last few years, and everyone loves it. It's easy, fast, and really cheap!

YUCK! Sorry to be the dissenting opinion, but this was not to our liking. The sauce was sickly sweet, and tasted of gloppy cornstarch, vinegar, and sugar. That's it! My husband (who will eat anything, and is always complimentary) finished his dinner in complete silence. I knew he was trying to be kind, but I could see that he had trouble choking it down. My two year old pushed it away saying "Ew". 'Nuff said.

I actually made this for my kids since my youngest (8 mos) is transitioning from baby food to table food. I made as directed but omitted the spices. They enjoyed it, but it's really heavy on the cream cheese. I wish I had read some of the other suggestions prior to making, because this soup is very rich. I felt full after tasting it!

Love this dressing. Honey mustard is my favorite salad dressing, and this is better than any from the store. We're doing the low-carb thing right now, so I subbed splenda for the honey and upped the lemon juice a bit and I can't tell the difference from the original recipe. Yay, Splenda!

I'm a little confused how bread that consists of sour cream and almost an entire stick of butter is considered lowfat, but it's delicious nontheless! Texture and flavor are outstanding, but a little lighter than traditional soda bread. I subbed whole wheat in place of one cup of bread flour which was really good, and next time I'll leave the oats off the top; they just fell off and made a mess. I'll make this one again!

We really enjoyed this, but I thought an entire stick of butter was too much. I made it as written the first time, but next time will substitute applesauce for some of the butter. I also think this would be good with at least part brown sugar. The oatmeal is a great addition, and gives the moist bread substance. I used three normal size bananas, and it turned out great. This was good, but not great. The flavor is very plain, and though I doubled the amount of raisins, it's still missing something. I think adding cinnamon to the dough might help, and if I try this again I'll increase the amount of the cinnamon filling as well. I thought there would be too much in the recipe as written, but my loaves taste just like white bread with a little bit of cinnamon and raisin. Not at all what I was hoping for. Thank you for sharing, though!

Holy cow!!! I will never buy pizza sauce again. This sauce is 10 stars! The ingredients are easy to find (I had everything but the anchovy paste, which I went out and bought) and I make it exactly as written. Using Jay's signature pizza crust, this sauce, and lots of fresh veggies, we don't ever order out anymore. Delivery is just a big disappointment after this!

If you're ever up in the middle of the night and can't sleep, make this cake. It takes HOURS to make and to roll out the little balls, but it's completely beautiful and tastes great. I highly recommend it if you have the time!
