Caramel Shortbread Squares

I had problems with the caramel separating from the shortbread. They tasted great but, obviously, I need to figure out what I'm doing wrong. I followed suggestions from other users, but I'll try again!

Buffalo Chicken Dip

I made this dip for a card party. It was very good and well received. However, I think the canned chicken gave it a slightly odd taste. Next time, I will buy a rotisserie chicken and shred it.

Bourbon Chicken

If you try this recipe with the expectation that it's going to taste like the fattening, restaurant version, you are going to be disappointed. That being said, however, it's a very flavorful and relatively healthy dish. Make it even healthier by using low sodium soy sauce and serve it over brown rice. Yum!

Shrimp Linguine

I have made this recipe several times and it is FANTASTIC! It tastes like a pasta dish I used to get from a famous chain steakhouse. My only advice - do not bother to try and make a low fat version of this recipe. I tried to make it healthier (so I could eat more of it!) and it wasn't very good at all. I don't eat this dish very often but, when I do, I splurge and use the full fat ingredients.

I tried to make this a vegetarian dish by eliminating the chicken and it really wasn't very good. You probably need the chicken to give it a little more flavor.

I followed the recipe exactly and this was excellent! At first, I was a little skeptical about adding salsa, but it gave the dish a nice little kick. I will definitely make this again!

Firecracker Grilled Alaska Salmon

Delicious! I have several salmon recipes and this is, by far, the best one! I marinated it for 24 hours and then baked it in the oven for 12 minutes at 400 degrees. The only issue was that it made the oven a bit messy. Next time, I'll use the grill as recommended.

I've been trying to find a good fish recipe and this definitely fit the bill. Very good flavor. The only modification I made was to eliminate the chopped fresh parsley because I forgot to buy it.

Cola Pot Roast II

Creamy Hot Cocoa

This is very rich and creamy and fairly easy to prepare. I normally wouldn't bother with making hot chocolate from scratch. But, it's one of those recipes that just make the holidays more special.

Grandma's Noodles II

I made these for Thanksgiving dinner for my family - tasted just like my grandma used to make! I cooked them in chicken broth until most of the broth was soaked into the noodles. My family loves them piled on top of mashed potatoes.

White Bean Chicken Chili

I prepared this recipe with no additions or changes and it was very good. The next time I make it, I will probably make it a little more spicy and add another can of beans.
