Six Can Chicken Tortilla Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2005
Well I took the advice of others and used chicken and rice soup and chicken breasts. My husband who is not a soup guy, loved this and so did I. We would prefer it to be a little hotter so next time I think I will add a small can of green chilies.

Rosemary Sherry Pork Chops

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2005
We really didn't care for this recipe. I even went back to recipe to verify I did everything correct. I did you olive oil and I apparently didn't brown the chops enough because the coating turned to mush when I added the liquid. With so many good review perhaps this was just me, but I won't be making this again.

Sage Pork Chops

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2005
Was good. My husband even liked it and he is never a fan of pork chops. But the pork chops were dry so I was thank for the gravy. (added 3 T of cornstarch to 3 T of cold water) Added to the broth.

My husband who thinks corn muffins are too dry, enjoyed these. Not quite like the corn muffins I grew up with. But these are excellent. We will definately be having these again.

French Toast II

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2003
I was reluctant to use that much nutmeg but I wanted to follow the directions exactly. I did use sandwhich bread because that's all I had. And no one in my family liked it. Too much nutmeg, it was edible but that's about it.

Country Style Fried Potatoes

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2003
Just what I was looking for. Not just for breakfast. We had these for dinner with Smoked sausage. I only had Crisco butter flavored shortening so that's what I used I think that was a great addition. I also added a little onion.

Loved it. Served twice this holiday season. First time only the Cranberry sauce lovers liked it. The second everyone willing to try it like it. I had several requests for the recipe.

Li'l Cheddar Meat Loaves

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2003
MEAT LUMPS!!!! ;o) They were quick and easy. And we really liked these little meatloaves. My 3 year old ate a whole one. I did cut back on the milk and on the brown sugar as was suggested by others. It was still a little too sweet. But I will definately make them again. Thanks

Green Bean Bundles I

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2003
My mother-in law makes these and they are always a holiday favorite. She does use Catalina Dressing and recomends letting them sit for a least 4 hours before cooking.

Spicy Garlic Lime Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2003
This is really good. My husband and I loved it. However, I doubled the spice mixture (as was recomended by another reviewer)and put it on real thick like blackening seasoning. And it was way too spicy. However, we still really enjoyed it. This will definately be added to my keepers list.

Caramel Popcorn Balls

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2003
My Kids and husband loved these. Only used 1 cup of unpopped popcorn and we still got plenty. Warning: The carmel is really hot especially if you use extra carmel. I found that if I kept my hands buttered it didn't burn as much.

Baked Salmon Fillets Dijon

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2003
I thought I would really like this receipe because I love dijon mustard. However, both my husband and I ended up scrapping the mustard and bread crumbs off. And I didn't even try to giving the toppings to my 2 and 4 years old. I suggest trying it if it sounds good to you because maybe you will like it. And the salmon was fine once we took off all the stuff.
