To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Very good recipe. I would halve the topping next time. The recipe calls for too much. I would increase the blueberries and add some cinnamon to the batter. Otherwise, a great recipe and my daughter went nuts over this.

Zucchini Bread

This was the best recipe I've ever come across for zucchini bread. I liked that the bread wasn't overly sweet. I did accidentally double the sour cream (I put in a cup instead of a half cup - I'll wear my glasses next time but it ended up being a happy accident). I also used coconut oil in place of the vegetable oil. It was perfect!

Kettle Corn

Very nice recipe. On an electric stove, this requires a careful eye and patience. Do NOT walk away, even for a second. Shake constantly, and remove from heat the INSTANT you hear popping slow down. Pour into an awaiting bowl immediately after removing from heat to prevent after burning (but be careful). You really have to add salt to taste. The sweet and salt is the best part about kettle corn. My kids absolutely devoured this.

Apple Crisp II

I'll use this as a base for apple crisp in the future but it was WAY TOO SWEET!!!! I always make recipes exactly as described the first time because, although I am experienced at baking, you never know when you are going to be surprised. Well, as I made this recipe I kept thinking to myself "wow, that's a LOT of sugar" and it turns out I was right. WAY too sweet. I would cut the sugar in half next time and save myself the toothache. The only thing I changed was that I used apple cider instead of water in the recipe.

Waffles I

The waffle was nice and fluffy, but so very bland. My kids enjoyed it, but if I made it again, I'd use melted better instead of oil or increase the salt or something.

I wish I could give more stars! This is one of the best things I've ever made from AllRecipes. I simply LOVE this loaf. I made it with golden raisins instead of currants but followed everything else exactly. This will be a kitchen staple from now on. Thanks SO much for sharing it!
