Slow Cooker Beef Stew I

Reviewed: Mar. 17, 2011
Yum, yum, yum! I like to follow a recipe exactly the first time I make it and this was delish! The only things I did differently were: I didn't have celery, but I added some corn, peas and green beans (I like mine to be veggie heavy) and I didn't have beef stock, so I used chicken stock and added 2 beef bullion cubes. I cooked mine on low for about 6 hours, then high for 1 and it was soooo good! I just finished a bowl of leftovers and they were just as delish!

Yum, Yum! I made this for Christmas dinner and they were so good! We only had gorgonzola, but it still tasted great. I left some large chunks of cheese and we loved it! THis is definately a keeper!

This was so good! I've been craving squash for a long time and this was just what I needed. It's been rainy all week so this just made it feel like a nice fall dinner. I served this with some pork chops and it was yummy

Awesome Honey Pecan Pork Chops

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2007
Wow! This was sooo good! You do need to serve it as soon as you put the glaze on though because the honey starts to harden quickly. Yum, yum!

Chicken Tortilla Soup V

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2007
Wow, Wow, Wow! This was soooo good! I added black beans to mine. I had half of a roasted chicken left so I shredded that up and added more garlic. This with some bread and salad and it was the perfect meal. Yum!

Yum!!!! This is so good. The changes I made were: halved fresh cherry tomatoes, added white wine and balamic vinegar and topped with asiago and pamesean cheese. I served it over penne pasta. Yum!

Shrimp Scampi Bake

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2007
This was really good! Next time I'll use less butter though. It was just a pool in the bottom. I coated the shrimp with bread crumbs to make it stick, but I used the same amount of mustard because I like it. Very tasty

Hot Spiced Cider

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2006
This was so good! I made it on the stove top. I put all of the spices in a cheese cloth and floated the oranges and cinnamon sticks. I also put in a few extra cinnamon sticks. This was sooooo good! I simmered it on low for 4 or so hours.

Mouth-Watering Stuffed Mushrooms

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2006
Yumm, yumm, yumm!!!! I made these for my sister's bridal shower and they were a huge hit! I followed the recipe exactly and they were soooo good. I tripled the amount of mushrooms, but only doubled the filling and it was still too much filling. We used the rest as a cheese spread on crackers. I will definately make them again! Update: I have made these for several more get-togethers and now everyone at work says I HAVE to make these. They're a HUGE hit!

It's Chili by George!!

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2006
This was sooooo good! I didn't want to get full because it was too good to stop eating. I added about three cloves of garlic and instead of tomato sauce, I added three cans of diced tomatoes (not drained). I also didn't drain and rinse the beans so it thickened it up a bit more. I wish I had one more can of kidney beans though. Very, very yummy!

Old Fashioned Pineapple Upside-Down Cake

Reviewed: Sep. 5, 2005
This did not turn out right at all!! There was way too much butter and not enough flour. We cooked it for almost an hour and it was just runny. The top made a crust, but the rest was sick! I'm sure the garbage liked it

Red Skinned Potato Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 1, 2005
I made this for a bbq I had and everyone loved it! They kept saying how good it was. I recomended it to my mom and she got the same reviews. We love how you don't have to peel tons of potatoes either. Yumm. Update: I have started cutting up the potatoes before I boil them so I don't have to wait for them to cool. I also use the Hormel bacon from Costco (already cooked and chopped). Both of these steps make it go much faster. Also, I use a shallot instead of the onion because I hate raw onion. I use 1/2 mayo and 1/2 sour cream. This is so yummy!
