Holiday Milk Punch: the New Eggnog

I've had this recipe for years and love to make it at Christmas! If it is really frozen (I've had it get pretty hard), I will stir in more milk to get a slushy drink to serve. Fabulous recipe!

Tomato Pie I

Very yummy! Drained tomatoes on paper towels for a couple of hours -- also prebaked crust about 10 min, and shortened baking time by about 10 minutes b/c edges were getting too brown.

Root Beer Float Cake II

I have made these little guys a couple of times, and they are such a hit! Recently served a group of them on a glass cake stand with parsley around the base, presented as "groomsmen" at a bridal tea -- everyone was talking about them. Takes a little time but the results are worth it for presentation alone (and they are quite tasty, too!)

Asparagus and Artichoke Pasta Salad

I would give this 5 stars, but I made modifications that improved it---loved the basic recipe, but needed more mayo and I added extra seasoning (Mrs. Dash) and fresh ground pepper. A very nice salad!

Bikini Martini

EXCELLENT! Added more pineapple juice to dilute alcohol a bit. This was a hit at Bunco and added to our Bunco Cookbook!~

Blueberry Orange Bread

Very good and easy to make! I used blueberries we picked which I had frozen and it was a great way to use these berries. I also added about 2 T. honey to the batter.
