Janet's Rich Banana Bread

This recipe was very good! I mashed my bananas which was so much better though and used bread flour. Will defintely keep this recipe on hand to use again. Easy to make. As recommended, I did turn my oven down to 325 degrees so it wouldn't turn too dark before the inside got done.

Ninety Minute Cinnamon Rolls

FABULOUS!!! No joke! I can't begin to tell you how many times I have tried recipes only to be horribly disappointed in the final product. This recipe is absolutely wonderful. I had tried several other cinnamon roll recipes and they just didn't make the cut. I added a few finely crushed walnuts along with the raisins. I used a simple icing (even though the buttery rich gooyness made the rolls sweet enough to eat alone). Rather than baking them in muffin pan I placed them in a 10inch round cake pan and let them rise in the pan. Watch your baking time so they don't overbake. I will definitely make these again, and again!

Four Egg Yellow Cake

Very good cake recipe. I've tried several others and so far this is one of the best yellow cake recipes so far. The texture and moistness was excellent although it didn't quite have the 'sweetness' of a cake that i'm used to but certainly worth making! Use the right frosting and you've got yourself a winner.

Golden Rum Cake

This was my first try at making a rum cake. I love this recipe, although i will try some others to compare. Everyone who ate this raved about it and looking forward to me making it again. Great recipe.

Beat and Bake Orange Cake

The cake was quick to make, however i was disappointed that it didn't have the 'orange' flavor i was expecting. I even added more orange zest than originally called for. All in all it was ok and i'll make it again. The icing is more of a glaze that probably works better with bundt cakes than a layer cake.
