Shredded Pork Chili

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2008
This is the best pork carnita, and to make the left overs into chili is a wonderful idea. So glad I thought of it!

Slow Cooker Carnitas

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2008
This is one of the best carnitas recipes I've tried and is super easy to prepare. I cooked this prior to a campout and served it as carnitas one night and put it in a chili for the next night. Wouldn't change a thing!

Best White Icing Ever

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2007
This is great icing. Good consistency and is simple to make. I didn't have clear vanilla extract so I used the brown and couldn't tell any change in the color. Yummy!

Bikini Martini

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2006
This is now my signature drink. You can order this at the Venetian in Las Vegas for $9.00 or as I prefer, make up a batch in your room before going out on The Strip. YUMMY!!!

No need to buy the expensive stuff in the packets, this is all I need! I keep it in a pretty jar along my counter because I use it often. Thanks!

Cranberry Walnut Relish I

This is a real winner on the holiday table. The blend of walnuts and cranberries with oranges... and it made the house smell so wonderful when it cooked. This is a family tradition.

I steamed the spinach in the microwave for 3 minutes. The dressing made the spinach zesty and tasty. It was really yummy!

These potatoes are FANTASTIC! I used red potatoes as suggested by the other reviews. They grilled up fast, and the marinade added great flavor.

Mushroom Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2005
This recipe, by far, is the easiest and tastiest pork chop recipe I have tried and I have been incorporating it into my meal plan for a few years. I add 1/2 can of water to the soup to increase the yummy gravy and serve it all on a bed of rice.

Asparagus Ham Dinner

Reviewed: Apr. 21, 2003
THIS IS FANTASTIC! Easy and yummy, taste like something I order at Applebees. I used leftover ham from Easter dinner and it was so quick to make. I added onion and fresh garlic to the saute. Hubby went for seconds, and the kids ate it all up.

Chicken Breasts Pierre

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2003
Wow! This is an easy dish to make and turns out like you put in a lot of effort. I was a little hestitant about adding vinegar and Worcestershire sauce to tomatoes, but that combination is zesty and turns up the flavor a few notches. My two year old loved it. I've passed this recipe on to every mother I know.

Chicken Tortilla Soup III

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2003
I had a hankering for some tortilla soup like the one I order last week at Z'Tejas Southwestern Grill, and this recipe was even better than theirs! It's rich and creamy, has a robust flavor, and is very easy to make. My husband and picky 2 year old ate it up like nothing else. I'm sharing this recipe with everyone I love.

Texas Rice

Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2003
This recipe would be something that my grandma from the Ozarks would make. It was hearty, flavorful and easy to make. Bacon and its grease isn't an ingredient that I cook with often, while watching my family's fat intake, but it sure makes this combo especially yummy. I will make this again, especially if I'm having my inlaws over for dinner.
