Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff I

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2013
Still my favorite slow cooker meal ever. It's good just as is, but of course people will add or change things to suit their tastes. I only change it by adding a packet of onion soup mix and I do add some garlic and I use more worchestershire sauce. Love this meal!

Oven Roasted Red Potatoes

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2013
I tried this recipe as-is despite what many of the reviews say. Ok, so some of the onion pieces did burn, the ones that were on the cookie sheet, not on the actual potatoes. I did let the potatoes sit in the olive oil/onion packet for about 30 minutes before putting them in so maybe they were softened. We thought they were good and would make them again!

Banana Sour Cream Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2010
Awesome! I made it just as it is except I baked 2 at a time and baked them at 325 for 70 minutes and they are perfect!! My hubby took a loaf to work and the whole thing was gone by lunchtime.

Smoked Tomato Bisque

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2007
We made this as is except for the smoked flavor, no idea where to find that! It was great! We didn't halve the spices like planned (boyfriend started making it before I got home) and we still loved it. Very yummy!

Chicken, Stuffing and Green Bean Casserole

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2004
We thought this was great! I had turkey flavored stuffing left over from thanksgiving so I used that. I skipped the cheese and topped it with French's Fried Onion toppers, but I used the cheese flavored ones. We really liked this. It was not too salty at all. Will definitely make this again!

Reuben Sandwich I

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2004
This was great! My husband loved it. I've never had a Reuben before so I had nothing to compare it to, but I would definitely make this again. Very quick and easy. I scaled back on the kraut on my sandwich because I'm not a real kraut girl (which is very bad since I'm from Wisconsin!)

Easy Beef Strogonoff

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2004
I've never had beef strogonof before and I thought this was pretty good. I have no idea how much a pint is in my sour cream tub so I just put some in until I thought it was enough. My husband loved it. Halfway through the meal he said "we have to have this again". He's a little meat deprived since I'm not a big meat eater. Very eay recipe to make too, I was very pleased!

Slow Cooker Chicken with Mushroom Wine Sauce

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2004
This is very good. My husband absolutely loves this. I only use 2 chicken breasts though. I also by an 8 oz package of cut mushrooms and I sautee them in a little butter before throwing them in. My husband loves mushrooms, so extra is good. Last time I made it I accidentally put in tablespoon of onions and parsley and it was still very very good. Have made this several times now and will make it every week!

World's Best Potato Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2004
I love this! My husband and I practically drink it until we're stuffed! And then we take it to work for lunch the next day. I make it in my slow cooker and let it cook all day and then when I come home I put the cream/soup and cheese in. I skip the bacon, it just doesn't sound too good to me, but I might try throwing in some bacon bits sometime. I also add 1 carrot just for some color. We love this a lot! Have made it twice.

BLT Wraps

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2003
A great quick wonderful meal. I cut it in half for me and my husband and the first thing he said after trying it was "let's make this again!" and I said "ok, when?" he said "tonight!" SO we had to cook more bacon and make more wraps. This time we added some mayo and he loves it! It's good either way, with or without mayo. Yum! Thanks!
