Banana Peanut Butter Bread

Reviewed: Sep. 22, 2004
What a great recipe! I made it late last night, into muffins, so that our family would have a good breakfast in the morning. It was a big hit! As per another review, I only used 1 3/4 flour. I used (3/4 cup) almond butter instead, and it smelled and tasted wonderful. For the muffins, it only took about 35-40 minutes in the oven, and I covered it with foil after about 25 minutes. I didn't have chocolate chips on hand, but will definetely add it next time. That would make for a 5 star recipe for sure!

A Good Barbeque Sauce

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2004
This was great. I needed a quick last minute bbq sauce, and this was perfect. I adjusted the amounts, since I didn't have enough cola on hand. I kept the hot sauce off, but added worcestershire. I added pineapple preserves, and it was a delicious sauce for my chicken meatballs. Perfect appetizer!

Cream of Chicken with Wild Rice Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2004
I just made this soup for lunch today, and YUM! It's great! A bit time consuming, but worth it! I added real mushrooms, and no celery since I didn't have any on hand. Instead of the butter/flour mixture, I used 1/3 cup cornstarch to thicken the soup, along with the milk required by the recipe. Everyone loved it, including my 2 year old. Thanks for a great recipe. Will freeze the leftovers and definetely make it again!

Fudge Chunk Brownies

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2003
I went looking specifically for a fudge brownie recipe, and this one interested me because of the pecans. I made a double batch to take to a party, and it was a big hit. The thing is, I made a mistake, in melting all of the chocolate, instead of leaving the semi-sweet into chunks, but that was probably a "great" mistake, as this turned out to be the best and fudgiest brownies I've ever had!!!
