Best Brownies

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2011
These brownies were delicious! Fudgey and yummy.. HUGE TIP: One thing you HAVE to remember is to use half the confectioner's sugar for the frosting. Other wise, it turns out to this weird dough. I was really pleased with this recipe. I sprinkled on some sprinkles like the picture shows, and it really adds a nice touch. :)

Honey Walnut Shrimp

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2011
Ugh, I hate writing bad reviews. At first, I was very enthusiastic and hyped up about this dish. I had eaten Honey Walnut Shrimp before in a Chinese Restaurant, and wanted to make it at home. I was unfortunately very disappointed... The fry batter around the shrimp was very thin and rough--very uncomfortable to eat. The walnuts were not candied at all--very bland to eat. The sauce was not my type. Maybe I'm just not a Honey Walnut Shrimp fan. Because of my experience I will not be eating/cooking any shrimp-based dishes soon.

Chocolate Chip Banana Bread II

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2011
This chocolate chip banana bread is downright delicious. I made it exactly as the recipe said--although I hesitated on using the shortening... It was a great success! The bread was very, very moist (...probably from all the shortening, haha). Everyone loved it.

Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies I

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2011
One word: "YUM!" I followed the recipe exactly as shown, and they tasted delicious. One thing that really amazed me is how long it could stay moist! The cookies were soft for about a good 4-5 days after baking. I just love the size of these cookies too!--It's just the right size to eat. Not too small that you'll have to share it with another person, and not too small either. BITE SIZE! Some suggestions: I added some extra walnuts in and it turned out great. I really love the nut taste. The cookie may have turned out too chocolate-ey. I dont how to avoid the overly chocolate taste...perhaps less cocoa powder or less chocolate chips? Anyways, the chocolate was a LITTLE overwhelming, but can probably be fixed. Overall, I would give it five stars. Easy to make and fun to eat!

Easy Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2011
These cookies turned out great! They were extremely easy and quick. I baked the cookies exactly as the recipe said, and ate them plain. They smelled wonderful and taste as good as they look. My first time making sugar cookies. The only thing that I didn't like is that the cookie didn't quite maintain the moisture after one day. Nevertheless, it tasted GREAT! Thanks for the recpe! :)
