Skillet Herbed Chicken with Mustard

Fabulous. It was amazingly tender. I'll probably use a little less tarragon next time, but regardless, we all loved it.

Tex-Mex Potatoes

Really good, filling, and easy. I didn't use jalapenos since I have a 2y/o, but got chili that had red & green chiles in it. Next time I'd like to add some spices and see how it turns out.

Chris' Bay Area Burger

These are fabulous - the best homemade burgers I've ever had. I grew up vegetarian and so find myself extra picky about my meat. This is our permanent Bear Family burger recipe. Based on previous reviews I used 1 tsp salt and that was fine.

Two-Cheese Scalloped Potatoes

A nice change from ordinary scalloped potatoes. Just enough cheese, not so much that it's overwhelming. The cook temp & time are perfect, and I didn't feel there was too much liquid as it had been absorbed or evaporated by the time it was ready to serve. A very simple side dish.

Bar-B-Q

Entire family loved it. I enjoyed the different taste the French onion soup added. Since it was just the 3 of us I halved everything but the soups - and didn't add the extra water. I thought it would be too runny but the extra simmered away. Thanks for a dinner success.

granted, this was my first fried chicken attempt, but I was disappointed w/ the results. edible, but the skin was tough. yes, i cooked it on medium to make sure it wouldn't overcook outside. still looking for a fried chx recipe.

Award Winning Chili

Pretty good, especially if you prefer more meat than beans. I liked the addition of vegetables. I probably won't make it again - I have a chili recipe I prefer - but would recommend giving it a try.

Chewy Cocoa Brownies

Chicken Pepper Steak

Overall this didn't turn out well. The chicken was tender and the flavor was good; it was a nice-looking presentation. However, the gravy just didn't work out. The liquid never turned into gravy.
