Easy Swedish Meatball Sauce

Reviewed: May 20, 2012
Easy to make, my Hubby and 3 kids (13, 7, 3) always ask for seconds.

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2012
I was afraid this would be too sweet but everyone enjoyed it. I changed the servings to 10 so I could use up 2 lbs of meat. I chose 1lb ground turkey and 1lb ground chuck and it still came out great.

Meat Loaf Pie

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2012
Nothing too special about this dish. I rather back regular meatloaf with mashed potatoes on the side. There wasn't too much flavor (I know I could have added) and the pie crust on the bottom was too mushy.

Banana Cake Balls

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2012
A small banana is key! The inside of mine turned out gooey; not that the kids cared. I was hoping for more flavor as well on the inside. The amount of chocolate was perfect and I recommend using the footnote regarding the plastic fork.

Breakfast Pizza

Yummy and easy. I didn't have any crescent rolls so I used a can of refrigerated breadsticks.

Banana Crumb Muffins

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2011
Amazingly good! I made these the night before so breakfast would be ready in our busy household the next morning but we ended up eating them all for dessert : )

Old Settlers' Baked Beans

Reviewed: Sep. 4, 2011
Amazing! My hubby doesn't like kidney beans so when I doubled this recipe for a BBQ I only added half the kidney beans needed. Everyone loved it! The hardest part (which was still easy) was cooking the bacon, onions, and beef, which I did separately (not on purpose) and it still turned out wonderful.

Cuban Midnight Sandwich

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2011
Amazing! I added tomatoes and they were perfect. I recommend squishing the bread down before putting anything into it in order to flatten the top a bit, followed by cooking the bottom first. They were a bit messy to eat but well worth it.

Firecracker Fried Chicken Drumsticks

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2011
The kids enjoyed these after marinating for only 1-2 hours. If you like it spicy I would suggest longer marinating and adding paprika and cayenne pepper to the batter.

Sauza®-Rita

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2011
My hubby and I are BIG drinkers! This made only 4 (normal) glasses for us. They were AWESOME though. Strong enough to taste the tequila, yet easy enough to go down smoothly. I much rather make these then the blended type. I made some for my in-laws (they don't drink much) and I added only 9oz of Patron. They loved them and couldn't taste a thing.

Frijoles a la Charra

Reviewed: Jun. 26, 2011
These took a little longer than expected. Next time I will leave myself 6 hrs or more in order to ensure they are done in time. BUT they turned out great! I only had pre-minced garlic so I used 2.5 tsp instead of chopping the garlic cloves. I will make these again to show off my skills to the family : )

Jalapeno Bread II

Reviewed: Jun. 26, 2011
Not sure what happened but the bread fell and was very dense. We still loved it. I can't wait to try it again with some cream cheese on top or for grilled cheeses.
