I made this twice, once as a trial run, and once for my boyfriend's Thanksgiving dinner. Everyone--my family, his family, my roommates, and my friends loved it.
I did double the coffee and rum and made my own lady fingers with the "Savoiardi I" recipe I also found on Allrecipes. For presentation, I lined a baking pan with saran wrap, and put the layers in backwards. After letting it set for several hours, I turned it over, removed the saran wrap, and dusted with cocoa. Voila! They couldn't believe it was not from the bakery!
