Biscotti

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2013
Very good. I used, as recommended by another reviewer, 1/2 vanilla and 1/2 almond extract because I couldn't find the anise. You can't go wrong with using a full tablespoon of almond extract to add flavor. This is a very good plain biscotti base. Get creative! It could use some slivered almonds. I dipped mine in chocolate. Thanks!

Absolutely delicious. Thanks! I left out the oregano and went less on the olive oil. Sprinkled tons of parmesean cheese on it. So good!

Too Much Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: May 6, 2012
I am eating this as we speak. I couldn't wait for the cake to cool and it tastes like a chocolate molten cake. So good, but a little rich. I think once the morsels harden, it won't be as rich. This is delicious! I will try applesauce next time because a cup of oil is a lot of fat!

Very good. No need to buy that awful stuff in a can. Homemade and very simple! You have to double the recipe. Just not enough.

Breaded Hamburgers

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2012
This is delicious!! I used Italian seasoned bread crumbs for added flavor. I would have like the breading to be a bit more crispy but didn't want to overcook the hamburger. Next time, I will use less oil and fry a bit longer. Doesn't need worcesterhire sauce. Omitted it.

Sweet Restaurant Slaw

Reviewed: May 6, 2012
Five stars because it is so simple to make! I made a few modifications. I cut the sugar to 1/3 cup, 1/2 is too sweet if you plan to use miracle whip. I cut the salt to 1/8 tsp due to my sodium intake restrictions. I did not add the poppy seed because I didn't have any. Next time, I will try using mayo instead of miracle whip. I also thought about adding crushed pineapple! Yum!

Corn and Black Bean Salad

delicious but has a southwestern flair. if you don't like that, omit or decrease cumin. i will try it next time without it. you can eat it immediately and don't have to wait for the next day.

Chocolate Pudding Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2011
simple. #4 on these directions say to refrigerate until not too gooey. the pudding should be made by reducing milk to 2 1/2 cups, and not as directed on the package.

Groovy Green Smoothie

i didn't have grapes; you don't need it. it's a bit thick due to the yogurt and banana, so i added coconut milk to thin it out a bit. it was very good.
