Swiss Chicken Casserole II

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2006
I love this recipe for fast and easy.Lots of ways to change it up.To fancy it up for company,my version is chicken tenders, sprinkled with granulated garlic and fresh cracked pepper, topped with provolone and I use the cream of chicken with herbs(this adds plenty of flavor)and top with chicken stove top.Yummy...taste just like something you would get at an amish restaurant.

Lemon Dijon Wings

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2005
I made these for my husband and Dad and baked/broiled in the oven rather than grill due to weather. The smell of the marinade was fantastic and they cooked up beautiful. Both of them loved them.I thought they were great too and will definately be making them again.

Green Bean and Potato Casserole

This was really good, you can add ham and make it a one dish meal.Would be good for a potluck also,as you can make alot and it is very inexpensive.4 year old daughter declared it the best meal she's had "in her whole life" :O)

Aunt Dee Dee's Apple Coffee Cake

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2007
2 cans of pie filling as others suggested would kill this recipe almost for sure...I would do what I did,and just slice up 2 extra apples. That made it perfect along with a splash of vanilla to the batter...I thought this was totally sinful-like pie topped cake-very good!!!Will make again for sure-way to go AUNT DEE.

***per the reviewers question about the salt-note-egg mixture only calls for 1/2 tsp-other 2 tbs is to boil with your pasta. As for my own review-I did this in 2 steps as one reviewer suggested...used colored marshmallows, vanilla cool whip, and used the pineapple juice from my drained fruit...AND MARASCINO CHERRIRES ARE A MUST!!!!fabulous-difinately will be havin this again!!!

I agree with everyone good but needs spiced up....I sauteed my chicken with a good spoonful of cumin...that helped...but think it would be good with some minced green onions in the sauce. Will do that next time!!!Good though and will do again!!!

great pie misread direction somehow before going to store and ended up with regular pie crust instead of graham...but turned out beautifully. My topping was also a very wet mixture but entire pie ended up baking into a rustic beauty...yummy.Have put this into my arsenal!!!

Cherry Almond Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2006
This was another one that turned into a surprise for me...I changed due to what I had...no gluten, and only a 15 oz can pitted dark bing cherries and pecan "chips" maybe 1/2 cups worth.Set on the sweet bread cycle...and it wasn't looking very promising at all...but I decided to let it go and sure enough,by what ended up seeming like a freak accident it right at the end raised up into a beautiful loaf or bread while on the bake cycly and tasted fantastic!I will make it again.
