Spanish Bar Cake

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2007
This was good but tasted more along the lines of a spice cake than the spanish bar cake (store bought)that were use to but good and I would definately suggest you try...if you grew up with it as a family recipe than the store ones. Was worth the effort...thanks.

Cranberry Sauce Extraordinaire

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2006
This was good but I will play with it a little to get it to our taste.Followed some other sugg and it was still pretty tart...the apple and fruit totally made it though. Also a little strong on the cinnamon we thought maybe 1/2 cinn and 1/4 nutmeg next time(and I love nutmeg)Good though and worth the try if you havent made before.

Streusel Topped Pumpkin Pie by EAGLE BRAND®

great pie misread direction somehow before going to store and ended up with regular pie crust instead of graham...but turned out beautifully. My topping was also a very wet mixture but entire pie ended up baking into a rustic beauty...yummy.Have put this into my arsenal!!!

Roasted Lemon Herb Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2006
I am going to have to assume that anyone giving this 5 stars has yet to try the "roast sticky chicken-rotisserie style" also from this site. For me,this was just a reminder that chicken is chicken...cause it takes more than this to make it special.

Swiss Chicken Casserole II

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2006
I love this recipe for fast and easy.Lots of ways to change it up.To fancy it up for company,my version is chicken tenders, sprinkled with granulated garlic and fresh cracked pepper, topped with provolone and I use the cream of chicken with herbs(this adds plenty of flavor)and top with chicken stove top.Yummy...taste just like something you would get at an amish restaurant.
