Apple Crisp III

Made this tonight and it was awesome. I, like others, used 1/2 white and 1/2 brown sugars. And I also added cinnamon and nutmeg into the topping. Served with home-made whipped cream Yummy!!!

Bacon Cheese Treats

I was shocked at how good these came out. I did change a few things. I used real bacon and then I sauted the onions in some of the bacon grease until they were carmelized. I also added a little garlic powder to the mixture then sprinkled the tops with a little mild cheddar cheese and parsley. Winner at a cocktail party

Annie's Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Chips

Really great and Easy Recipe. I added mango's and used apricot preserves. I didn't use the white or brown sugar and it was still plenty sweet. Winner at a cocktail party.

Marinated Tuna Steak

This was really great and thats saying something because I don't really like fish. I added in a little honey to the marinade just because I like things kinda sweet. I ate this with plain old white rice with butter and sugar mixed in it. Really good.

S'More Bars II

Yummy. I made these with my five year old daughter and nine year old nephew. Needless to say they loved them. I didn't care too much for them at first but after sitting in the fridge for a couple days I tried them again and they were delish.

Eddie's Special Burgers

These were great. My family doesn't care for mushrooms so we didn't use those but it was still a delicious twist on a burger. Also I seasoned my hamburger patties with seasoning salt and fresh ground black pepper. And I put salt and pepper on the green peppers and onions while cooking them.

Pot Roast in Foil

This is a great base recipe. I usually throw all the ingredients along with onions and green bell peppers into my slow cooker in the morning on low and when I get home from work its so good and tender that it falls apart before I can get it on a serving platter.

Taco Cornbread Pizza

We love this recipe in my house. One change that a lot of people might like is using crescent roll dough instead of making cornbread. All you do is open the package and bake. no mixing needed and its not too sweet either

Three Cheese Baked Mashed Potatoes

These were really good for instanst mashed potatoes. I didn't think my family would like a crumb topping on it so I just sprinkled grated parmesan cheese on top and drizzled melted butter and they were great like that.

Sweet and Spicy Green Beans

I didn't have any Chili sauce so I used red pepper flakes and it was still delicious. Thanks for a great idea. By the way my 4 year old daughter just walked in and notified me they were delicious too. And she usually doesn't eat green beans
