Classic Macaroni Salad
I followed this recipe with only adding 1/4 cup of sugar and even that was too sweet. It also made a very yellow salad with all of the mustard that was added. It tasted like those acidic deli counter salads. We tossed this. Now on the look out for a good basic mac. salad from this site.

Cornbread Muffins I
This was a hit a our teacher appreciation luncheon-it went to quickly that I was asked if I would mind running back home to cook a double batch before the second wave of teachers came through to eat. I didn't have honey so omitted it, and used creamed corn. Got many raves.

Daddy's 'If They'da had This at the Alamo we would'ha WON!' Texas Chili
This is the real deal- I'm a homesick Texan and we loved this recipe.I tried it because a "real Texas" chili does not have beans- only as a optional topping. My 6 and 8 year olds were leary at first, we told them it was enchilida stew and then they devoured it. I made a double batch so that I could use the extra as enchilida sauce, but there weren't any leftovers!! This is chili contest material, thank you so much!!
