Microwave Corn on the Cob
This is easy, but I have an easier one: Cut off most of tassel and stalk (nearly up to ear). Shuck corn, leaving about two thicknesses of shuck, and all the silk. Microwave for about 2 min. per ear (can do up to 4 at a time--total time for 4 = 5 min.). Remove carefully (very hot) and finish shucking, using hand protection. Silks come off easily and completely. Unshucked ears can be left in turned-off microwave so as to keep hot for second helping. Cay from FL

Grandma's Float
My mother made this, too (I'm 80)! The only difference was that she used the egg-white mixture as a "dollop" on top of each individual custard dish. She called it "Floating Island." Merry Christmas, and thanks for sending it in. Cay from FL

Yellow Squash Casserole
I'd rate this higher if I could. I first had it at a bikers' party and couldn't get enough of it! One might try putting a coating of cheese over the top before baking, using a little less in the mixture. There won't be any leftovers. Plaudits to the chef!
