Mongolian Beef and Spring Onions

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2014
Loved this recipe. Brought the flank steak and pounded it myself. Next time I go to meat store and have them run it through their machine. We always like extra sauce, so I doubled the garlic, ginger, soy sauce, water, sugar, cornstarch. Next time I will use arrowroot flour (health food store), because it thickens quicker. I cut the meat a little to wide. Next time I will flash freeze the meat and slice real thin. I was concern that it wouldn't be tender, but it was. I love Mongolian Beef and this was so tasty, that I am getting hungry for it again as I am typing this information. Easy Easy to do.---Marie

Fried Rice Restaurant Style

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2014
Loved how it was easy to prepare. I used Chicken Broth in place of water. We left out carrots and peas. We added Shrimp and mushrooms. Felt it was a little bland, but we realize we didn't put enough soy sauce in it. We also add sesame oil as well. We added a can of shrimp in the last minute before serving.--Marie

Best Egg Rolls

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2014
I followed the examples of other people. I double the ginger and garlic. Did not use sesame seeds. I used the whole bag of cabbage with carrots (16oz) which I minced up more. I also added a can of small shrimp. They were awesome and easy to do. Marie

Pineapple Upside-Down Cake VII

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2011
This is my husband's favorite cake which I haven't made in years. I followed these instructions to a tee. I cooked it for 40 minutes, which I should have cook it for 45 minutes. I printed the receipe and it didn't have the cook minutes on it, so I guessed. Used an 12" iron skillet and it came out perfect. Can't wait for my husband to try it.
