Screaming Potatoes

I have been making this recipe for years. I am glad it is being shared here. We love these potatoes. Sometime we make them with Mrs. Dash added with the salt, but they are great with just the kosher salt. They can also be made in a non stick pan and turn out great.

Better than Sex Cookies

These are basically sugar cookies with white chocolate and nuts. I will stick to my original white chocolate macadamia nut cookies. Need to add brown sugar to these

Curried Honey Mustard Chicken

This chicken was ok nothing to die for. It was rejected by my picky 8 year old. Would probably be good as a sandwich with a little monteray jack cheese.

Burger or Hot Dog Buns

These make really great hamburger buns, can't wait to make hot dog buns. Just make sure you make 12 buns like the recipe says. I made 6 and they got really big. So unless you want to make really big burgers don't do what I did. I especially liked these because I could mix them up and let them rise while I prepared potatoes and the patties, then while the burgers cooked I popped them in the oven and they were done when everything else was.

Grandma's Egg Custard Pie

This is not the best custard pie I have ever had. Didn't have a lot of flavor to it. In my family, we have custard pie every Christmas holiday, and this pie could use some improvement. It is missing something, but I just can't quite put my finger on it.

Real Italian Calzones

This was a good recipe. It does need a few adjustments. The recipe should state that the yeast should proof first. I dissolved the sugar in the water with the yeast and let it sit for ten minutes. I didn't use the same toppings, I used ground ham, spinach, a little mozarella, mushrooms and of course ricotta, which makes a "real Italian Calzone, and for a little extra yum, a dash or two of Italian dressing, but the dough was great for calzone. Very chewy and beautiful coloring. I made 4 calzones out of this but cut them in half, so next time I will make 8 small ones. Also it took only 20 minutes when I used my pizza stone, so time should be adjusted for the size of individual servings.

Vintage Lemonade

This was the most disgusting recipe I have ever tried. The lemonade definately tasted vintage, like it had been in my refrigerator for years. I will keep my usual recipe for lemonade and advise anyone tempted to try this recipe to look elsewhere and don't waste your time or money on this one.

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

I was not impressed with these cookies. I still have a cookie jar full of them. Maybe the birds and ducks will eat them. There was nothing special about them, I don't know if the other people forgot what good cookies taste like or what. I will continue my search for a good recipe. This one will go in the recycling bin

Good Chocolate Pie

This was a very delicious pie. The top bakes up crunchy and the middle is like pudding. The only bad thing about this pie: waiting for it to cool. But once it sets up it is perfect. This is going in my permanent recipe file. I didn't want to share. If you are a chocolate lover, you will love this wonderfully rich pie.

Pilgrim Pumpkin Pie

This is a great recipe. I didn't use the Honey ginger cream, but will definately give it a try. The crust was great and simple too. This is the crust that I use on all my pies now. No waiting for it to chill is my favorite part. This is a holiday keeper

Honey Garlic Ribs

To me, these ribs were pretty good, my boyfriend said not to cook them for anyone else because they could cause someone to propose. We'll be setting a date soon. So if you are getting impatient, make these ribs and you will soon be engaged. I used pork country ribs so it took a little longer to bake and I baked them in a deep sided pan. When making them a second time,I basted the meat everytime I turned it and added more garlic salt each time, they were much better.

J.P.'s Big Daddy Biscuits

These are the best biscuits. Used a teaspoon of sugar instead of a tablespoon and just made the dough about a half an inch thick for regular sized biscuits. I had lost the recipe I usually use in our recent move and this is a great replacement. I made these for dinner and immediately after dinner made another batch and put in refrigerator for tomorrow.Ccan't wait to see how BIG those turn out. This is going in my permanent recipe book.

these are really great. They had a chewy-soft texture. This is the best peanut butter cookie recipe I have tried. Not a fan of coconut, so I left it out. they were gobbled up quickly

Neapolitan Bundt Cake

I thought this cake was a little dry, but I may be biased because I don't like box cake mix. It also did not turn out very "pretty". I would definately tweek this recipe a little if i ever dared to try it again.
