Creamy Chocolate Frosting

Reviewed: Mar. 28, 2014
Amazing! This was the first chocolate frosting I've ever made and I picked it because of the other reviews and I'm really glad I did. My husband, who has a sweet tooth, and can be a good judge of flavor, said it was delicious! I did have to go back and make a second batch so I'd have enough to frost my two dozen cupcakes. Whipping up the second batch was even faster than the first time, though, and its so amazing, I dont care. My son's 3rd BD party is tomorrow and I'm sure people won't believe that I made this, hehe :) Thanks for sharing!

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2012
I made this a few days ago, using leftover honeybaked ham from Christmas that i froze. I eyeballed the amounts for potatoes, and I used a frozen mirepoix mix instead of chopping up onion and carrots - I have a 10 mo old. My husband loved this and he isn't usually very vocal about my cooking. I will definitely make this again and again and look forward to trying some variations that others mentioned. Thanks for posting this recipe!

Chicken Florentine Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2011
DELICIOUS!!! I made this tonight as my 7 month old son sat nearby and it was a breeze and the result was SO good! I used a pound of chicken breast and i cubed the chicken and skipped step 1 entirely. I used half a bag of frozen chopped spinach in place of the canned spinach, omitted the bacon bits (didnt have any) and substituted provolone for the mozzarella. I also only used half the amt of butter called for. I cooked at 400 degrees for 30 mins, turned it down to 350 for another 15 minutes as I had to get my son to sleep, and came back to a bubbly and browned dish of goodness. Served with steamed fresh green beans and brown rice. Next time I will thaw and squeeze the spinach first because it did have a lot of liquid. Overall, very yummy! Thanks for this recipe. I can't wait to make it for company!

Chicken in a Pot

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2011
I made this tonight because I was looking for something new and not too complicated. I must say this was very good! I doubled the sauce ingredients because I wanted to put it over mashed potatoes. I was glad I did. I added a little flour to the sauce when I boiled it at the end, to thicken it. FYI I used jarred minced garlic, tomato paste double concentrated in a tube, Italian seasoned bread crumbs, and vegetable oil instead of olive oil. This will probably be something we come back to! Thank you for this recipe!
