Peach Pie

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2003
This was exactly what I was looking for in an old fashion peach pie. I did add a little lemon juice to keep the peaches from turning dark and about one-half tsp. almond flavoring. I also found that temp. was a little low and cooking time just a little short. Excellent pie!!

Fried Cabbage II

This is a quick and delicious way to utilize cabbage and to have a fresh vegie in the winter. I think that a little soy sauce would be good in this dish also

Carnation® Quiche Lorraine

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2004
This is one of the best and simplest recipes that I have tried. I used a can of evaporated skim milk and Kraft Smokey Swiss and Chedder Cheese and also some Monterey Jack cheese. I have also added ham and onion. Each time it comes out perfect!

Apple Crumb Pie

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2005
Not much room for improvement on this pie, however, a little butter added to the apples before putting on the crumb crust makes it even better.

Island Shrimp and Rice

This recipe was excellent as is, however it could have other things added to it. I found it to be quick and easy and was also easy to cut in half as there are only two in my family.

Double Quick Dinner Rolls

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2005
These rolls were fantastic, quick and easy. I did not have onion powder so I omitted the regular salt and used 1 3/4 tsp of onion salt. They were light fluffy and very good. A regular in my house when I don't have time to make the time consuming ones and maybe when I do!

Chicken Chimichangas with Green Sauce

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2006
This recipe was quick and good. I thought the chicken part could have used a little more seasoning, maybe a little garlic and salt. Also if you fry them at the recommend heat they will burn. I cooked them on low until nicely browned. I will make them again.

Spinach Rice

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2006
I thought this was an excellent dish. I did not have the peppers so I added a little garlic, however, I did feel that it would have been better with some kind of topping on it...maybe some buttered bread crumbs. I will make it again. Everyone in my family liked it.

May as well add one more review to this amazing recipe. I made it just as the recipe indicated and did not have any trouble except staying out of it once it was done. This bread is wonderful! Quite easy to make too.
