Salmon Fillets with Creamy Dill

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2013
Fantastic! I did what others suggested and used plain yogurt in conjunction with the mayo (2 parts yogurt, 1 part light mayo). Also, used both dijon and prepared mustard (as I had only a bit of both on hand!) and added a bit of brown sugar to the sauce. Rubbed the salmon with lemon juice, garlic, salt and pepper. Amazing stuff! My two-year old LOVED it. I've never seen him eat so fast!

Pasta with Asparagus

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2011
This was surprisingly delicious! I added some garlic as well (prior to adding the veggies) and sauteed them for much longer then directed. I also added more chicken broth so when the pasta was ready I tossed it in with the asparagus mixture to coat it in the remaining chicken broth. Came out very nice! Next time I'll add shrimp too.

Potato Leek Soup III

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2009
Very tasty! I too reduced the amount of butter to 1/2 c like other users and added a bit of garlic while cooking the leeks in butter. Didn't have any cream, so opted for milk and added a bit more cornstarch to make it a bit more thick. Pureed it with a stick blender before serving. My guests loved it! thank you :)

Buttery Soft Pretzels

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2006
I thought this recipe was great! And after adding my own toppings they tasted just like the soft pretzels you can get at the mall. I did make a few modifications as per some of the previous reviewers, I only used 4 cups of flour, 1 tsp of salt and 1/4 cup more water than listed in order to keep the dough consistent. As for toppings I used melted butter with ground garlic, parmesan cheese and sesame seeds (which I spread on both before and after they came out of the oven) as one kind and cinnamon and powdered sugar as another. Very delicious, they came out flavourful and not a bit too salty or too sweet as others have mentioned. Will definitely make again.

Croissants

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2003
extremely bland...not worth the 8 hour preparation time it took... if I do make this again then I think I'll add way more butter for taste, I was really in the mood for croissants today, I hope another croissant recipe will be posted on here soon so that I can try again!

Chocolate Chip Muffins

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2003
Pretty good, I followed the advice of a few other users by adding 1c of milk, but next time I think I'm actually going to add a tiny bit more.. I also substituted the oil for butter, because I for one enjoy the buttery taste of muffins and lastly added a bit of brown sugar in combination of the white sugar to make 1/2 cup. good stuff!
