Apple Stuffed Pork Chops

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2003
This was very good. I also added some sausage to the stuffing. I suggest the cooking time be reduced by a few minutes so that the meat doesnt dry out. The stuffing had a wonderful flavor (I cheated and used Pepperidge Farms Savory Herb bread cubes.)

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

Reviewed: Apr. 2, 2003
This meatloaf was very moist. I misread the recipe and only used one pound of lean ground beef, and the same amount of the remaining ingredients. It was soo moist though! I loved the ginger taste, very different for meatloaf. I also would suggest to mix ALL of the ingredients together in with the meat so that the flavor is throughout the meatloaf instead of real sweet at the bottom where the brown sugar and ketchup were.

Magic Mango Bread

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2003
This bread is wonderful! It is very moist!! After peeling and cutting the first mango, I realized that the second one was not quite ripe enough. I substituted the remaining mango needed with banana, pineapple and peach! I know it sounds a bit too fruity--but it was delicious. Thanks for the recipe!

Italian Spaghetti Sauce with Meatballs

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2003
My boyfriend says these are the best meatballs ever! I used 1 lb of ground beef and six ounces of hot sausage. I forgot to add the cheese, so I rolled the meatballs in parmesan cheese and then browned in olive oil before adding to my own sauce. I did not get a chance to try the sauce, but i will rate it as soon as i do. Great recipe. We enjoyed them so much we had them two nights in a row! Thanks-

Blondies I

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2003
I did not particularly like these blondies. I followed the directions but they still did not turn out well. They were a little bit thin, and had way too much butter/shortening. The white chocolate chips were overpowering and there were too many macadamia nuts.

Brownie Caramel Cheesecake

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2003
This did not turn out very well. The brownie bottom was too hard, the caramel overflowed and burned and it made a mess of the pan. I had one slice and ended up throwing the rest in the trash. I was really counting on this dish to take to a party, but it did not work too well. I will try it one more time, becuase it did have a good flavor. It just was not very presentable by the time i got it out of the pan and the brownie was a little too tough. Thanks the same!

Sausage Balls

Reviewed: Apr. 21, 2003
I mixed these with Cheesy Bisquik Biscuit mix and it was way too greasy!! I think between the sausage AND the cheese AND the cheese in the Cheesy Bisquik mix, it was too much! I love sausage balls and i think these would have been great if I used PLAIN biscuit mix. Thanks-

Day Before Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Apr. 21, 2003
I would give these potatoes an A+, however some of my guests thought there was too much sour cream. The day after making them, I covered them and reheated in the microwave and didnt need to add any milk like some reviewers suggested. Just cover them so they do not lose the moisture and you should be fine.

Tomato Chicken Parmesan

Reviewed: May 26, 2003
This chicken parmesan was BETTER than restaurant quality! I added garlic and basil after the egg but before breading and refrigerated for about an hour before cooking so that it would "stay." I used mozarella cheese and baked until it was melted...soooo moist! Thanks for the great recipe.

Baked Orange Roughy Italian-Style

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2005
Excellent fish! Orange roughy is the best because it doesnt taste like fish, it tastes like butter! I used all parmesan cheese and omitted the other cheese and used spray butter for convenience. five stars!

I will never again use store bought cranberry sauce. This was excellent! I made it Christmas Eve and it was perfectly "jellied" on christmas morning. Wonderful alternative to the regular cranberry sauce.
