Baked Egg Rolls

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2011
So delicious! I used ground pork instead of chicken and cabbage instead of bean sprouts. My husband said these were better than any egg rolls we've had in 5 years (haven't had good luck with Chinese food in the midwest).

Meatball Nirvana

Reviewed: May 10, 2010
Very good. My husband loved these, but they were too spicy for my kids. I made a double batch and froze half. They freeze really well.

Marinated Pork Loin

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2009
So good! I put the pork in the crock pot and just poured the marinade over. I cooked in on low for about 6 hours and it turned out great.

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2009
So good! I used a little more than 2 cups of pumpkin, which is more than a 15 oz. can, but it turned out fantastic. I also added chocolate chips. It made a LOT of bread, so I was able to freeze half of it.

Strawberry Bread

Reviewed: Apr. 29, 2009
I followed the advice of other users and added strawberry puree. It still wasn't a really strong strawberry flavor. My kids weren't big fans, and they LOVE strawberries.

Key Lime Pie VII

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2009
This was so easy and very good. I used bottled key lime juice and omitted the rind. It had a strong lime flavor and great consistency. My husband loves key lime pie and thought this was great!

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2008
This soup was so delicious. Like other reviews, I used chicken broth instead of water and granules. It has such a delicious flavor and is definitely going on our make again and again list.

Black Cat Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2008
My kids had a lot of fun helping me make these cookies. However, I didn't think the taste was that great. They were a little dry for my taste and just not what I was hoping for.

Burrito Pie

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2008
This was pretty good. Next time, I will use medium or hot taco sauce for a little more flavor. I also used a lot more cheese than called for because my family likes things cheesy. I followed the advice of others and made it in two round cake pans. We ate one for dinner and I froze the other one. It worked out great.

Delicious Pumpkin Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2008
My husband loved this bread. I used applesauce in place of the oil. I didn't add nuts, but I made one loaf with chocolate chips (kids favorite), another with craisins (my favorite) and another just plain (husbands favorite). Very versitle and delicious.

Ten Minute Enchilada Sauce

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2008
This was very easy. However, I thought it was a little greasy. I used regular flour and only 2 Tbsp. chili powder--otherwise it would have been much to spicy for our tastes.

Peanut Butter Bars I

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2008
These were a delicious, but a little rich. I think they needed more chocolate. I agree with another user and next time I'll probably make into balls and dip in the chocolate.

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2008
These cookies were so good. Normally, my husband wants peanut butter cookies, but after I made these, he actually requested them intead of peanut butter! I followed the advice of others and put in the fridge for a while before baking. We made some of them smaller than the recipe called for and they were still wonderful.

Wild Rice Cheese Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2006
I thought this soup was a little too thick. Also, I followed the advice of some other reviews and only used half the Velveeta, but I thought the cheese flavor was still too strong. My husband complained because he couldn't even taste the sausage. I don't think we'll make this one again.

Chewy Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2003
This cookies were wonderful! My husband loves peanut butter chocolate chip cookies, but I prefer the regular kind. These cookies are the perfect compromise because the peanut butter isn't too strong.
