We love this recipe! I sometimes make it just as the recipe says, (except I use brown Splenda to cut the carbs, as I am diabetic, and salt substiture.) I also serve the same basic recipe, but just cut the squash in half, add the apples and walnuts with the sugar mixture and bake the halves in the oven. Either way, it is a family favorite.

Strawberry Whipped Sensation

I made this because I love to use strawberries when they are at their peak! First try was Father's Day, and it was a big hit. Very easy to make and made such a nice presentation.

Apple Pork Chops

I can't believe that this recipe got good ratings! All recipes is my favorite site, but this was the worst! I prefer rating good recipes! I did not eat more than two small pieces of this one.

Creamy Broccoli Soup

I have become so addicted to this soup! It is by far the easiest and quickest soup you can make. I double the recipe and to keep the cholesterol lower, I use half the amount of cheese which is enough for me. Great recipe for diabetics or those on a low carb diet.

Dry Rub for Ribs

Too spicy! Had a major coughing fit and neither hubby nor I could continue eating the ribs. Used recipe as written but did not barbecue. Marinated @ 8 hrs and cooked in oven at 350. I would like to try it again perhaps using half the pepper and paprika.

Savory Apple Pork Chops

Overall, this was a nice change. The next time though, I will brown the chops first and saute a few onions. I added a small amount of ground cloves on the apples before adding the ketchup. The chops were juicy and tender, but a little "pale" for our likings. Will do again with minor changes.

Reuben Casserole

Absolutely fantastic! This is my first review of a recipe, even though I use so many from this site. My hubby who "hates casseroles" loved this one. I used leftover corned beef and I can't wait to make it again! I toasted the rye bread cubes first, and then followed the recipe as directed.
