Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2003
I thought that the bread was great. It gave a nice quantity and cuts well for sandwiches. Thanks for sharing it. I do plan to make this again.

Quick Berry Milkshake

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2003
This recipe was great. I at first thought that maybe there wouldn't be enough sugar but there is. I scaled the recipe back for 2 servings. It was good.

Dad's Double Whole Grain Pancakes

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2005
This recipe of pancakes tasted wonderful. There really is no need to put anything on them since they are already so sweet. The only problem I had is that they burned even at a really low heat. This did not appear to affect the taste though. I certainly plan to try them again. My husband even liked them.

Fasoliyyeh Bi Z-Zayt (Syrian Green Beans with Olive Oil)

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2005
These beans are absolutely wonderful. I used to go to Boston Market for their grean beans now I don't have to. These taste sooo good I could eat them all the time. I didn't have cilantro last time I made them so I used a little dried Basil. They still tasted wonderful. My husband also loves them. Thank-you so much Tasneem.

Chicken Jalfrezi

Reviewed: Jul. 30, 2005
I just made this for my family. I have been looking for a good recipe using Turmeric. I have heard of the good health benefits of it. This recipe was really good even though I didn't have all of the ingredients. I didn't have fresh ginger so I used about a teaspoon dried ginger. I also didn't have cilantro or coriander. The recipe really tasted great. I can't wait to try when I have the rest of the ingredients.

Buttermilk Biscuits I

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2005
I just made these biscuits and think they are wonderful. My husband says they are the best biscuits I have ever made. I am wondering if the people who thought they were bland just used regular flour in place of the self rising flour. Self rising flour has baking powder or soda and salt so they should turn out very good. I thought they were perfect. Thank-you very much for the recipe.

Vegetarian Sandwich Spread

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2005
I used to eat this as a child at Seventh Day Adventist potlucks. It was always one of my favorite things. My husband says it tastes like the bologny spread he used to eat as a kid. I made it today and it is good. I bought a can of Linketts and a can of Vega-Links to see which one I liked better. I think that the Vega-Links have better color for this recipe and they also mash a lot easier.

Oma's Fabulous Matzo Ball Soup

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2006
This recipe was great. I made it for our passover dinner this year and everyone loved them. Many of whom had never even had Matzo ball soup before. Even the kids were asking for seconds. Thank-you for a great recipe.

Passover Chocolate Mandelbrot

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2006
This recipe turned out very good even though I made a few mistakes with the help of my little kids. I didn't have Matzo cake meal so I used regular Matzo meal. I also accidentaly bought mini chocolate chips. My kids turned the stove to broil about halfway through the normal cooking time. I noticed the smell of smoke and never guessed that this had happened. I ended up taking it out of the oven at this point and cutting off as much burned part as I could. Even still the Mandelbrot was amazing. My guest asked to take some home. They showed me the next day that their children had only left crumbs. Thanks for a good recipe.

Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2006
I thought these potatoes were really good. My husband liked the ones without the garlic better though he usually loves garlic. A little girl said that they needed even more garlic. I am on her side I will try to use more garlic next time. Thanks for the recipe.

Pot Roast in Foil

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2006
This recipe was amazing. I never got so many compliments on my cooking before. I told them all of your recipe. I did add an extra can of mushroom soup as instructed by other reviewers but besides that I did nothing extra. My husband is still in love with the leftovers. This was my first roast to turn out so well I thank God and you. My roast was a little bigger than called for in the recipe so I had the oven at 325. Thanks again.

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2007
These were great. I took the dough to synagogue for the kids to make Chanukah cookies. The dough got warm and sticky and the kids added way too much flour. Surprisingly they were still very tasty. Thank-you for a great recipe the kids had a great time.

Lazanki

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2008
I use this recipe alot when I am interested in having cabbage. I really enjoy how cabbage gets a sweet flavor when cooked instead of being so tart. I haven't actually put this in the oven and usually add a package of seasoning from chicken lo-mein to mine. It is really good.

Jeanie's Falafel

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2008
These were really good. My son who barely will eat anything besides chicken even liked them. I didn't have all the ingredients but was close. I think I will try baking them next time due to all the extra grease. I had to use left over matzo crumbs in place of bread crumbs since I didn't have any.
