Meatloaf? How exciting can that be??? This is the BEST! I've always liked meatloaf and my family...they could take it or leave it. Since I've started making this one, it is a weekly request.
I do make a couple of changes. I add chopped onion, at least a half of a cup. I omit a pound of beef and add a pound of ground pork and if I can find it, I also add about a pound of ground veal. I add about a teaspoon of nutmeg, I know it sounds crazy, but try it! And best of all...you've got to do this! Chop one half pound of bacon, cook it to crispy, drain and add to the meatloaf ingriedents! WOW! It is SO good!
