Cantaloupe Bread with Praline Glaze
We loved this! Who would have thought you could make bread out of cantaloupe? Well, I guess there IS zucchini bread! I did change a few things. We did not like the praline glaze, in fact we scraped it off, so did the kids. The second time I made it I added more nutmeg, about 3/4 of a teaspoon more and a little more ginger. The original recipe calls for two bread pans, but I found the loaves to be a bit short. So the second time I doubled the recipe put it in three pans. Excellent! Good thing I had a bumper crop of cantaloupe, I've been freezing it all week so we can have this yummy bread all winter!

Eileen's Meatloaf
Meatloaf? How exciting can that be??? This is the BEST! I've always liked meatloaf and my family...they could take it or leave it. Since I've started making this one, it is a weekly request. I do make a couple of changes. I add chopped onion, at least a half of a cup. I omit a pound of beef and add a pound of ground pork and if I can find it, I also add about a pound of ground veal. I add about a teaspoon of nutmeg, I know it sounds crazy, but try it! And best of all...you've got to do this! Chop one half pound of bacon, cook it to crispy, drain and add to the meatloaf ingriedents! WOW! It is SO good!

Chicken and Bowtie Pasta with Asiago Cream Sauce
This is an easy, quick meal that my whole family loved. I will add more fresh garlic and increase the "sauce", but other than that...it's perfect!
