Applesauce Brownies I

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2011
Very similar to a recipe I have used for years. We call them applesauce cake brownies because they more cake like. But please try these with the chocolate chips and sugar on top, it is what makes them sooooooooooo amazingly good. They don't need frostining, the frostining is already there. My favorite "cake" of all time.

Heavenly White Cake

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2010
My 12 and 14 year old daughters made this while my husband and I were out shopping. They did nothing right, forgot some ingredients and it still turned out wonderful. Can't wait to make it next week- the right way with all the ingredients and see how it turns out. :-)

I like heavy, moist cakes, and this was both of those but it just didn't taste very good.

Very good. Not greasy like buttercream. I will experiment with chip flavors to get it just right.

Tres Leches Cake

Reviewed: May 9, 2005
SOOOO GOOD!!! Made in a bundt pan so that I could take the cake out of the pan pour the milk mixture in the pan and then put the cake back in the pan. So much easier. I even over cooked it(not burnt) I just used all the milk to make up for the dryness and it was great. Had people who don't like cake say they loved this. Even better the next day.

Chocolate Mint Candies Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2003
These are REALY GOOD! I had some "Andes" Creme De Menthe baking chips on hand and wanted to make something with them. This was the right thing I only had 1 cup of regular chocolate chips so I used 1 cup of the "Andes" chips with it. Then sprinked the chips on when the cookies were done. A piece of mint would have been less messy- but sometimes you use what you have- I made small, 2-bite size cookies and got almost 100.

I love this recipe! I mix it up the night before then in the morning add the egg, milk and vanilla and it's ready to go. I sometimes add nuts.
