Really good, I did make a lot of adjustments to fit my personal taste. Double the garlic ( I do this for every recipe). Seriously caramelize the onions;- I took about an entire hour to do so. Use the head of FRESH broccoli, literally no stalk. I tore the top pieces apart by hand after cutting away most of the trunk/stalk. (Sorry I'm not familiar with anatomy of broccoli) In the pan in which the onions were sauteed-after removing the onions, saute the broccoli & garlic together until soft. I also used extra cheese.(2cups total) one cup of mild cheddar and one of mozzarella. This was then spread over the bottom of a pie shell which had been lightly buttered. The onions were layered on top of the cheese and then the broccoli finally followed by the egg. Instead of milk I used 1/2 & 1/2. I doubled the recipe and the adjustments and added an extra egg filled two pie shells and took the quiches to two thanksgivings as an appetizer. It was very well received.
