Brazilian Cheese Bread (Pao de Queijo)
Great recipe, you can omit garlic or add herbs if you want to be adventurous. If your batter ends up being runny, just scoop them into mini-muffin tins and they work just fine...and yes, the "rubbery" texture is normal.

Pierogi (Polish Dumplings)
Rating for dough: Great recipe, dough turned out well, nice and tender. I used a different filling, so can't rate. Btw, they turn out surprisingly well when baked too, slightly bready--though fill well seasoned/sauced meat may be best if you bake them.

Great recipe! Only changes were that I broiled the eggplant instead of fried, and added an egg to the b├ęchamel sauce after it thickened. After reading reviews of runny sauce, it could be that you didn't cook the sauce enough before putting it on top, it takes about 5-10 min of stirring after all the milk has been put in to see it really set. It does take longer than 45 min, lots of time went to prepping the eggplant, so set aside some time.
