About this Cook
I'm 17. I've been cooking for as long as I can remember. When I got to highschool, I started taking culinary classes, so now I know a lot of technical stuff about cooking food in general, so I can modify recipes and make up my own. I'm from Tennessee. I like all kinds of cooking. I LOVE trying new things. I love to go to the Nashville Farmer's Market to buy fruits and vegetables that I've never had so I can experiment.
My favorite things to cook
I don't have a specific favorite, but I like one pot/one pan meals, like soup or roasted meat and root vegetable.
My cooking triumphs
I'm young, so I haven't had many opertunities. I cooked my first Thanksgiving dinner in 2012, and it was great. I was told it was the best turkey ever.
My cooking tragedies
One time I was making steamed chineese meatballs or something like that, and it called for orange zest, but I didn't have any, so I used lemon. It was disgusting.

Pierogi (Polish Dumplings)
Between making the fillings, letting the mashed potatoes cool, making the dough, and letting it rest in the fridge and plus this was my first time making them, it took me about three hours. They were good, especially the potato one, but I think it takes too long. (:

Baked Potato Soup III
To me this soup is a bit to thick, so I have to add milk when I make it. This recipe comes in handy on cold nights when supper isn't ready, considering we usually have these ingredients in the house. (:

French Crepes
These are so good. I put a mixture of cranberry chutney and cream cheese in it, and it was great. Nutella and bananas inside the crepe topped with powder sugar is also good. (:
