Tasty Buns

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2014
The buns are great for sandwiches and burgers. They are soft and chewy and just the right density to hold toppings. I read multiple comments and decided to make a few changes to put chance on my side. It was worth it! I cut down the yeast a little (4 tsp instead of 5) and I added less flour (4 cups instead of 5), since some people said it was dense (half all-purpose half bread flour) and the buns turned out great! I made 9 and cooked for 17 minutes.

Cream Of Carrot Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2014
Great tasting simple soup I am not a fan of carrot soup but I had a delicious one at a restaurant and wanted to recreate the same thing at home. This recipe was exactly what I was looking for! I ajusted a few things: being lactose intolerante I ommited the cream and just put more broth; also added 2 gloves of garlic and used 1/2 sweet potato instead of regular potato. This recipe is a keeper, everyone one loved it!

Crispy and Creamy Doughnuts

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2013
I used fast active yeast wich i added to the flour. Turned out great! Doughtnut definatly needs a glaze because they are not sweet on their own which is great! I will make again!! Note I put 2 1/4 tea spoon of yeast (which is ONE package)

French Bread

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2012
I made this bread with my kitchenaid stand mixer. It was the first time i had issue with dough. I had to add a bit of oil and a dab of flour to get the dough ok. Once that issue resolve everything went well. Nice crispy crust and nice light inside. I put a bowl of water under the bread in the oven.
