Best Marinara Sauce Yet

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2013
Loved this easy recipe! Very easy to freeze and use later. I used 4 tablespoons of olive oil rather than 6 and 1/4 cup of apple cider vinegar instead of 1/2 white wine. Tasted great! I would suggest starting with 1/8 cup of apple cider vinegar and tasting first before you add the remaining 1/8th cup as this flavor is very strong.

Burrito Pie

A favorite and so easy! Produces leftovers for days. I used one pound of meat instead of two, ground turkey instead of beef and whole wheat tortillas instead of flour. Tasted great and still very meaty!

Love this easy recipe! I used ground turkey instead of beef, added a layer of reried beans and corn kernels, and mixed a bunch (so that sour cream was a light pink color) of salsa with the sour cream layer. Tasted amazing!!

Pasta Fazul

Loved this. My husband and I are not fond of onions so we did not use that and it still tasted great. I used diced tomatoes instead of whole and penne instead of macaroni - tasted great!

Mom's Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2013
Great tasting and easy to freeze! Great as a hostess gift. I used 1 1/2 cup of flour with 1 1/1 cup of whole wheat flour instead of 3 cups flour, and 3 cups of apple sauce instead of 3 eggs. Still tasted great! I would suggest cutting the sugar a bit (decrease by 1/4 cup) and add more shredded zucchini.

Love this recipe! Great with chili! I cooked the batter in cupcake tins so they would be portioned well and easier to eat.

Baked Teriyaki Chicken

This is a favorite! Tastes great and like it took alot of effort to make but is super easy. I did not use the corn starch and cut the white sugar from 1/2 a cup to 1/4 cup and was still super delicious.

Mexican Bean Salad

Super tasty! I did not use the green bell pepper or onion, I cut the olive oil from 1/2 cup to 1/4 cup, added 2 chopped tomatoes and 1 chopped avocado and cut for red wine vinegar from 1/2 cup to 1/4 - I think it tasted great with all these changes!
