Buffalo Style Chicken Pizza

Reviewed: Jun. 16, 2004
This was great for something different. I used ranch instead of bleu cheese dressing, and only half the bottle. I also used only half the cheese too, and it was still very filling. I'd definately make it again, my boyfriend and I both really enjoyed it!

Key West Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2004
My boyfriend loves this marinade. Anytime we grill chicken, this is his request. It's quick and simple to mix up, and it gives the chicken such great favorite. It's definitely a staple around our house.

Garlic Crab Artichoke Dip

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2005
This was wonderful! Couldn't find garlic/mushroom soup mix, so I used onion/mushroom soup mix and added some minced garlic, also used imitation crab instead of canned. Awesome!

Restaurant-Style Coleslaw II

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2005
It was ok. Was hoping the dressing would be creamier, should have read the other reviews first. If I make it again, I will leave out the buttermilk.

Pumpkin Chili Mexicana

Reviewed: May 3, 2005
Great! Super thick and good flavor. My boyfriend couldn't taste the pumpkin at all. I used leftover cooked turkey and let it go in the crockpot all day, and it was still a nice thick consistency.

Cheesy Italian Tortellini

Reviewed: Jun. 22, 2005
Very good! I used almost double the Italian sausage, no beef, no mushrooms (picky boyfriend), added green peppers and onion, and twice as much tortellini (love leftovers for lunch!). Had to add more water when I threw the pasta in, but it still ended up nice and thick. Didn't add the extra cheese at the end as we thought the tortellini was cheesy enough. Definitely a keeper!

American Lasagna

Reviewed: Jun. 27, 2005
This was alright. Didn't know my boyfriend hated ricotta cheese (thought he just hated cottage cheese), so he didn't like it at all. I thought it was good; dry, like some other reviews said, but still alright.

Slow-Cooker Barbecue Ribs

Reviewed: Jun. 29, 2005
Very yummy and easy! So tender the bones just fell out! My boyfriend had always made ribs by first boiling, then baking, then grilling them, this was so much simpler! I took the advice of other reviews and used 2 c. bbq sauce for the ketchup, 1 c. ketchup for the chili sauce, only 1 Tbls. vinegar (as neither of us care much for the taste), and also added some garic, onion, and liquid smoke. Very good!

Fabulous Wet Burritos

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2005
Excellent! The only we'll do differently next time is to add some green peppers to the inside. Even my picky fiance liked it! Definitely a keeper! Thanks!

Whole Wheat Beer Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2005
This bread wasn't too my taste at all, I threw the majority of it away. Didn't even like it with chili. I'd give it less stars, but I think it was just me, not the bread. I'll stick to cooking, not baking, with beer.

Easy Beef Goulash

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2005
This was good, I didn't add caraway seeds, left out the extra water, and added a little more flour to make it nice and thick. Had a nice "comfort food" flavor. I liked it a lot more than my boyfriend did, he prefers my original recipe, but he thought this was still ok. I'll probably stick my old recipe for his sake, but this one was a nice change of pace for me!

This was really good! I added some minced garlic, but otherwise followed the recipe exactly. It was a very filling, inexpensive meal, definitely a keeper! Thanks!

Sadie's Longboy Cheeseburgers

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2005
The filling was good, but the bread crust got so crisp it was nearly impossible to bite through. If I make this again, I will take another reviewer's tip and brown the meat first and bake only for a short time.

Hoagie Bake

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2005
Yummy! I modified this, used turkey, ham, and roast beef, added sliced pickles, tomatoes, and onion between the meat and cheese layers, and only used Swiss cheese. The tomatoes and pickles made it a little runny/messy when it was hot, but it still tasted great! The leftovers the next day were wonderful too! Going to try it tonight as written, maybe add some sliced olives and onion.

Very good. I used this as both a dip for a veggie tray at our NYE party, and the leftovers the next day as a salad dressing. Got great reviews at the party! Thanks!

Simply the Easiest Beef Brisket

This was my first time making brisket, and I thought the flavor of the marinade was just ok. The brisket came out nice and tender, but I won't use this recipe again.
