Easy Olive Martini Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2009
Wow - this is great, especially if you are a martini fan. Very easy, too! I highly recommend adding some artichokes for added texture. Yum!!

Potato and Broccoli Casserole

OMG, this is good! I used the french fried onions instead of the crackers and even cheated and used diced canned potatoes. So easy and so tasty!!

Szechwan Shrimp

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2008
Like the picture, I added broccoli florets at the same time the shrimp went in. Also, I only had terriyaki marinade (no soy sauce) so I used that - it was wonderful!!! I added a little lemon juice before service to give it a citrus flavor and WOW!!! I could become addicted....

Spinach and Tortellini Salad

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2010
This was fabulous at a party I gave. Only thing I did differently was used a can of petite diced tomatoes instead of cherry tomatoes. The next day I heated the leftovers in the microwave and it was outstanding as a hot dish - very versatile!!

Slow Cooker Cranberry Roast

Reviewed: Mar. 7, 2011
This gravy is absolutely the most delicious gravy I've ever had!! It's definitely better for a red meat - wouldn't put it on chicken - but wow!

Baked Moist and Savory Stuffing

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2011
OK, so normally I do not change a recipe the first time I try it. However, based on previous stuffings I have made and my family's preferences, I did make the following changes - and this is better than any other stuffing I've made. I added about a cup of white cooking wine, 4 Tbsp of butter, and a package of sliced mushrooms to the boiling process. I also used cornbread stuffing from Pepperidge Farm. It was absolutely fabulous!!

This was a HUGE hit at a big family party - sweet, but not overwhelming. Great with rice!!

Strawberry Goat Cheese Bruschetta

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2012
This is outstanding!!! I am afraid of our grill, so I toasted the bread in the oven, but otherwise followed the directions exactly. It got rave reviews, even by the kids. Definitely one of my new favorites.

Artichoke Chicken

Reviewed: May 19, 2008
Easy, easy, easy!! I did use the sour cream as half of the base, and loved it. My husband is not a fan of parm cheese, so it won't be a requested item, but worth making again for myself!!

Irish Potato Casserole

Reviewed: Apr. 21, 2010
Really easy to make and has a great consistency. Needed some more spice to it. I just added salt and pepper and it was perfect. Will definitelymake this again! Great alternative to fries or mashed potatoes.

Tangy Slow Cooker Pork Roast

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2011
This recipe was great, and very easy. I had all of the ingredients in the house already, so just buying the pork roast was great! Gave it 4 instead of 5 stars because I would have liked the sauce to be a little thicker, but that can easily be accomplished with flour, per other reviews. I will definitely make again!!

Porcupines

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2011
This was great. Followed the recipe exactly, but doing it again I would double the tomato sauce/water it cooks in for extra gravy. Awesome with rice as a side dish and a salad. Will make again!!

Scotcharoos

Reviewed: Jul. 31, 2011
Support your local dentist!! Wow - very sweet but very good! Take care to butter the dish very well - it will make it easier to get it out. I say "it" because mine came out all at once, which worked out great and made it easier to cut on a board. Would definitely recommend as a kid-friendly dessert!

Chicken and Shrimp Jambalaya

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2010
Probably wouldn't make this one again. I found that the liquid dried up too quickly while cooking and I kept having to add water to keep it going in the skillet. It didn't seem like an easy recipe while you're making it, because each step and preparation take a while if you follow the directions exactly like I did. I'm not one to vary from a recipe, so unless someone has a great alternative to these directions, I'll pass. Sorry!
