Stuffed Green Peppers I

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2012
Good recipe, but we didn't care for the use of tomato soup, rather go with a jarred tomato sauce or make my own. I use an assortment of colored peppers..overall, worth making, good homecooked affordable meal. thanks for sharing

Oven-Baked Caramel French Toast

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2012
OMG good...but I made this every Sunday for a month since the family loved it so much & i think I gained 5 pounds! (worth it!) Anyhow, I prefer French bread & soak over night in egg/milk mix with cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla, I save the salt for adding to the caramel sauce to make it more of a sea salt caramel. (or toast your nuts with butter & salt to get that extra flavor) mmm...I add a touch of half & half to my caramel to keep it creamy and make sure I have enough for drizzling over at the finish. Putting the nuts on the pan with the caramel before baking is good & it is also great to just toss into the caramel & drizzle on after baking bread. THANK you for sharing, this will be a family favorite forever!

Bill's Sausage Gravy

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2012
This is a great simple recipe! I will make again. I did not have maple sausage, so I used jimmy Dean & squirted about a TBS of maple syrup into it during browing process to add the taste of sweet. I used 2% milk, to be a tad healthier..you would never know, I used fresh black pepper as well as a little white pepper. For biscuits, Bisquick is fast & easy, use a standard glass top as your cookie cutter & you have hot fresh biscuits when it's time to eat. THANKS for sharing!

Sweet and Spicy Stir Fry with Chicken and Broccoli

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2012
This is a great recipe, but if you can't handle hot, you will want to half the chili paste and maybe leave out crushed red peppers. I also took others advice & put my chicken in the frig. the night before with a little soy some fresh ginger & garlic. I used bell peppers, & no broccoli, I was out..also, used minced fresh garlic. Will make again! Thanks for sharing! :)
